Radial EngineeringProAV2 Stereo Direct Box

While the DBX is very good at ridding noise and I hear new instruments (details), the Radial is on another level taking me to the live music venue.I use Apple Music.I have. $17k 2.2 stereo system.

We have several of these and have no issues with them.

I keep two of these on-hand on a shelf on my studio. Currently, I have three in daily operation. Two are used to connect the unbalanced output of two iPad audio outputs, and I have the other in line with two channels from my Groove Synthesis 3D Wave... (why a $5000 synthesizer would be sold with unbalanced audio outputs is a mystery to me!)

This is easily one of the best purchase I have made after years of dealing with SEVERE ground loop issues between my PC (which I use for audio-related hobbies) and my externally powered studio monitors. When I say severe, I don't mean a minor 60 Hz hum that you can only hear while there is no audio signal. What I mean is an extreme angry hornets nest-level of buzz that is VERY loud and not part of the source signal. The buzzing is clearly tied to the PC's power load, as the whine fluctuates with the render speed of my video card (a power hungry Titan Xp). It's so obnoxious that I rarely used my external studio monitors (a simple pair of Mackie MR5's) and opted for studio headphones.I cannot express the feeling I felt the moment I cranked the PC the full tilt, cranked the volume to max, pressed the ground raise button on the output side of the ProAV2 and heard.... silence... It was music to my ears.I also love the input options available on the ProAV2. I can use the device in my PC set-up, or grab it and use it with my DJ set-up.

In my situation, I had 3 computers connecting to a single audio interface. Only one could connect to the audio interface though USB. I tries many things from audio switchers, USB to audio dongles and optical converters. Everything failed with quality issues until I used this. As shown in the diagram, I pushed two devices through the monitor over HDMI and then transitioned monitor output to XLR. The sound quality si amazing and never misses.

We bought this product because in our church they needed it. We love it so far And it has to assemble and is really practical and easy to install.

This unit completely removes hum from my system, if you are looking for a unit that does this job but maintains high-quality sound, this is the one. Very satisfy.My system uses Gaia + Terminator as the DAC. I have a tube amp and headphones like Arya Stealth, HEDD, HD800S, LCD-X.
