Update 2: After seeing my negative comment, the company responded very quickly and sent out a replacement light. We'll see if this light lasts longer, but the design of the control box hasn't changed. We'll just be more careful with the new light.Update 6 months later: We thought this was a great light but shortly after getting it, we noticed the wires were being pulled out of the control box. We were being very careful and even tried taping the wires but the light began to flicker and now does not work at all. Poor materials and craftsmanship.This is a great light! My wife colors a lot and previous she was using multiple, smaller lights. Now she only needs this one light, it is bright, has a battery, shines light in a broad area and is just plain awesome! It gets bright enough for her projects, but it is not a harsh light at all like the smaller lights she used to use. When she uses the battery, it lasts about 6 hours while using the brightest intensity light. Charging time for the battery from empty to full is only a few hours. It is a little heavy, but that is because it is durable and built very well. We highly recommend this light if you need to light up a broad area and have an available USB port for use or charging.

This light works well, I really like the lighting options, however the light itself is much larger than I thought it would be. I call it "The Street Lamp". Which isn't a bad thing, however it is too big for what I need it for. I bought this to clip onto a book reading board so that I can recline in bed and have the lamp right there over my book. The clip is very well made, very sturdy, however for what I need it for, to clip onto my book reading board, the clip is so tight that it doesn't squeeze onto the board easily, which again, can be a perk since it's very sturdy, but a hassle if you need to move it often. I'd say this is a good product for staying put in one place, like on a desk or any interesting spot you may want to clip it, but it's a bit too bulking for clipping onto a book board or onto a lightweight delicate surface. I wish that the dimensions had been very clear about how long & wide the lamp head itself is, and the clip. I'll most likely give this to a friend and shop for a different smaller light for reading. I would still recommend this product though, since it's VERY well made. Therefore, I give it 5 stars, but I suggest to the manufacturer or distributors to please put clear dimensions in your product description here, because the next purchaser may not be a kind with a 5 star review if they're disappointed in the size as I am.

I ordered a black one last year for my car since it didn’t have a light over the dash. This light is absolutely great to have in a vehicle and to use when camping. I rarely plug it in to charge it so I have no idea how long the battery life is. I use it often to look at maps and other things in the vehicle. Being able to use the lowest brightness setting at night and by using the long gooseneck - I’m able to keep the light out of my eyes and not draw attention to myself while driving at night like other factory overhead interior lights normally do. It’s also nice to be able to change the color of the light to match any surrounding lights (bluish white, yellow or the color between). The clamp is incredibly strong so you don’t have to worry about it coming loose or falling off.I also got it for vehicle camping in addition to an extra interior light. It really lights up a good sized area inside as well as outside and no batteries needed.Only drawback is that the internal rechargeable battery is located 1/2 way down the cord where the controls are. So if you are using it by battery power only and not plugged into a USB outlet, you cannot just take the light and leave the cord - it stays with the light 24/7.The first one I order was black, this one white - I even got a very handy little USB mini light from the company as a gift which was very nice of them. Only reason I had to order another one was that on the first one I got, the wiring came loose from the control box (the box located on the cord) and it wouldn’t stay on. I’d solder the wiring back together but the control box doesn’t have a way of being opened without tearing it completely up. I hope this new one doesn’t have the same issues. A bit of supporting tape at the weak spots on each side of the box where the wires come out each side will hopefully do the trick.Absolutely worth every penny.

Really, the headline of my review should be enough to convince you, but I have eleaborated if you want more details.This little light is bright and powerful! I bought it to clip to my vanity (which is also white, so kudos for offering a white fixture). It is perfect for make up application. Being able to change the tones is seriously awesome.

It was a great lamp while it lasted. I bought it in May 2017 and used it regularly. It worked well for about a year. Now it doesn't recharge to it's original brightness and it dims within 2 hours (even when set on high). Tried to let it die out and do a long recharge (over night) and only got a medium brightness that dimmed to nothing within 2 hours again. I am an artist and I use this for my artwork. I need a strong light. Anyone out there know what to do besides buy something else that is more expensive?Update Note: I contacted Kedsum and they were very quick and professional. They are an honest company who cares about their customers. I sent them a detailed account of the trouble I am having with this lamp. They offered to send me another or a refund. I really really like this lamp so I tried to drain it completely and then recharged it. This worked and it's bright again, but for how long? It turns out the lithium battery drains (very little) and the "memory" recalls the lower amount each time I use the lamp. Solution? Unknown. I don't recommend this lamp for long term, daily reading/study/art as the light dims slowly with use. Going to keep it plugged in at all times now (which no longer makes it a cordless lamp =( sad ) and hope this keeps the lamp bright. Kedsum kindly gave me a refund as requested. If keeping the lamp plugged in all the times doesn't work, I will have to shop for another lamp.

totally love it!!!!!!!!!The whole white design is beautiful and the function is sooo cool! It have 3 types of light, each of them could be choosed from dark to bright, and the USB cable made it more convenient to use with my computer！I highly recommend it!!!

Great lamp. I like it because I have a choice in color temperature. It really helps when doing my artwork. I think I'm going to order a second one soon
