better than I expected
Size is a little bigger than what I usually wear. I wear waist 32 and ordered this as medium, thinking it'll match my size. They pretty much did, but felt like 34. Lots of storage space, especially the tilted cargo pockets, they are amazing. The fabric feels like it will resist to wetness for some time, we will see about it. Reinforced bottom and knee pieces, you name it these pants have all. Overall, great outdoor pants.

If you're between sizes you should size down to avoid parachute pants
So military sizing is tough because if you're a 36 like me that puts you right at the top of one size and at the bottom of the next. I sized down because reviews mentioned that if you are at the bottom of the range then they'll be really baggy. Mine are snug in the waist but not uncomfortable, I'm sure one size up would have felt way too big. Keep in mind as you wear pants and break them in they will stretch over time at least an inch so if they are snug but not uncomfortable then they'll be perfect after a few months of weekly wear. I love mine and I wore them on a 300 mile motorcycle trip with no issues, cargo pocket bungee made the prefect water bottle holder.

good pants to beat up, dry well enough for Michigan climes with a polyester UA 4.0 base layer
Kneepad holders do their job and the material is more durable than most nylon pants, excepting expensive goretex materials. If they are selling around $45 I would buy two pair. They do their job. The woodland camo came out well and I like the style. Perfect for blousing too if you need.

terrible pants.
These pants are terrible. im 5'10 almost 5'11 and ive never had a problem with pants till now. I ordered a M regular and i look like a worlds biggest loser contestant trying his old pants on. Im 175lbs athletic build and have a 30 waist. I had to order a M because of fact that their S is to small on me. But its wayyy too much. Its extremely baggy on the pants sides. Its not tapered in the slightest. They look decent with knee pads on but without, they look gross.
