This is a quality piece of equipment with quality pads. First time I ever buffed a car with compound. Did wonderful job. No need to fear that you will hurt finish if you use the Griot compound and don’t press hard. There are a couple of good Utube videos to review before you start work. Pads flush clean after using and can be reused saving money. Compound wipes off easily.

Good product, just used it for about 3 hours cutting and buffing my car, turned out great. The only complaint I have is one of the pads (black pad to be specific) nearly ripped its self apart halfway through the final polishing of my car. The black pad began breaking apart and pulling away from the white part that sticks to the orbiter. I was able to finish the polishing but it won’t make it through another polishing job.

This DA is exactly what I needed to get the job done! Half the price of my last one(Dewalt)and does exactly the same thing.As far as longevity goes,only time will tell..Highly recommended

I read reviews before decided to buy but since I received the tool, I haven't got time to use it till nowI decided to check it out, put everything together plug into power outletThe tool spinning but when I try to sand, it slows down then not spinning no more only moving side to side could be the dual action? but when it not spinning you cannot sand or do anything with it.And the problem is when I turn it ON it sound like full power but in few second it kicks into slower speednow I own a piece of junk that cannot do anything and too late to return.

Would have got 5 stars if the pads didn’t suck. Used it once. Washed the pads in warm water , as I have always cleaned foam pads. On the second use the adhesive let go of Velcro backing and the pad flew off the buffer. Tried the next pad and it did the same thing. One pad is also starting to come apart. Really wanted to like this rig a lot but I really could have screwed up a paint job along with having to stop and go buy pads.

this polisher is a great tool the compounds i used were meguiar's 100 and 205 and i watched some youtube how to vids on polishing (you don't want to mess up) and the car came out great looks almost brand new

Tested it and seems to work ok. However, I haven't used it yet. Will tell after I have the opportunity to use it.
