100% will recommend using this attachment. We used it for our trip out to Europe and the chance to switch to different attachments quick was awesome. I used the necklace attachment to get that chesty footage then took it off to our selfie stick without unscrewing it and screwing it back on. It's versatile and must need for avid gopro users. Yes it will hold strong on the car we went 70mph and had no issues. Work well under water. I will get more base plates for other attachments.

Sturdy magnets, but allow for much slop on thin fabric

So I made my first drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel and needed something to secure my GoPro to the roof of my car to record my jouney. This worked great. The only mod I had to do was to apply some stick-on felt to the bottom of the magnetic base to keep from scratching my paint.
