BPA - When I contacted the company to ask if the plastic contained BPA, I was told that it is FOOD GRADE and that he wasn't familiar with my question about BPA. (not sure how that could be?) In any case, he said that it was PC (Polycarbonate). If you look up PC or #7 it is plastic that DOES contain chemical Bisphenol-A (BPA). Also, the item arrived the address also included an address that was in Bulgaria? I used tis container for a NON food item instead. I just wish companies would be more honest about stuff especially regarding food and our safety.

Do not waste your money. The first purchase I made the box came with deep scratches ALL OVER THE BOX as you can see in the pictures and it arrived in an awful condition. I did an exchange and the second box the same thing, this time with scratches and cracks on it as you can tell from the pictures as well. I was extremely disappointed. Also, I can't see how this would keep my food from spoiling, there is no suction closing the lid to the base of the box to keep air from getting in. I can see someone using this for a non food item, but food, no

Plastic is nice and thick, easy to wash and keeps all the bacon juices off the meat because of the drainer that is included; also the little tongs are a plus to just keep in there for the specific use!🥓
