Millage Flying Tourbillon (3826) Collection

I'll be honest - I dealt directly with the supplier and got this watch for about $5,000 less than the price listed here.The pictures don't do this timepiece justice. The rose gold is actually slightly darker than shown on the website, which in my opinion gives it a lot more depth and presence. Apparently they're all very slightly different in color, so it's worth looking at more than one before you decide.The movement (As you would expect) is a true work of art. From manually winding the mechanism to the reassuring tick of its operation, the sense of quality is undeniable. As far as accuracy goes, I've worn it about 1 month and it has gained about 7 seconds - the same as my Rolex Daytona.Although the dial looks a little busy in the pictures, it's actually very easy to read. Even the smaller day/date dials are practical to use, which often isn't the case with this style of watch.The timepiece also comes in a magnificent presentation box - silk-lined cherry wood (I think its cherry anyway) with a velvet "pillow" for the watch to sit on. A little plaque - signed/etched by the watchmaker - completes the package. Very nicely done!Although this is obviously a luxury piece, I've had no reservations about wearing it almost daily. I've had many compliments from fellow watch enthusiasts. Even my unicorn, Steve, thinks it's great - and he's as picky as they come. He made me return my Bentley because he didn't like the color of the stitching on the seats! Oh Steve, if only you could speak as well as you fly, my friend! But then what would you say to me? Would you tell me about the clouds? Or would you gently sing of the birds and the tears they weep? Those poor birds, Steve, those poor, lonely, birds.Great watch 10/10

I was interested in purchasing this watch, it appeared to have all the features I desire in the watch. The band itself looks soft and supple and I would love to feel it caress my skin.However, the $6.98 shipping and handling was the straw that broke the camel's back. No way was I going to shell out that much money to have this gorgeous gift of the gods shipped to my doorstep.

I can't believe I only had a $50,000 credit line on my Amazon VISA. Foiled again by the man! When I went to check out after placing 5 of these in my Cart, my computer started overheating. It now lies with my one-legged $6,000 "Christmas Story" lamp in ruins. I guess I will stay with my sole functioning sundial.

Extremely hesitant to buy this watch, after all nothing so far compares to my Timex G-Shock, takes a licking and keeps on ticking!!! The leather strap (who can get a leather strap nowadays) sold me so any ways I figured why not, I should be able to beat the crap out of this watch and it should work right? Considering shipping is less than $7 how can you lose?? I ordered my Flying Tourbillon and for $90K I figured my order would arrive on one of those Octocopters but sadly the UPS guy threw it on my front porch and didn't even knock... No problem I opened up the box and my new watch survived the UPS test, so naturally before I placed it on my wrist I slammed it on the concrete as hard as I could expecting it to bounce right up so I could catch it on a little hop. Needless to say that didn't happen... I give it slightly less than 4 stars with the hopes the Flying Tourbllon II fixes the problem, I anxiously await its debut.

I bought this watch hoping it would allow me to ride the time/space continueum. My plan was to go back in time and play a winning Mega Millions lottery number so I could pay off the credit card I used to buy this stupid thing. Guess what? Didn't work.

I ended up in an alternative timeline, where Hillary Clinton declared herself Empress and hetrosexual marriage was outlawed. Fortunately, this baby comes with a cloaking device and I was able to ride things out until the next worm hole opened.

When I purchased my Millage Flying Tourbillon I was expecting it to Fly just like it says in its name. I opened the box took out my new watch and immediately threw it in the air, but it didn't fly. It just fell on the concrete and broke. Upon inspecting the watch, I had noticed that during impact,the crystal had shattered and the tourbillon had indeed flown out of the watch. I would have given this watch five stars, but I never could find that darn tourbillon.

Assuming that this product listing is not a gag, THE FLYING TOURBILLION is an obscene tribute to mankind's foolishness.OK- I'm sure that there are more than a few Billionaires out there (Tony Stark of IronMan fame it the first comes to mind) who can afford this object. Like the fabled "Emperor's New Clothes" I can't imagine anyone being proud to show it off.For starters, this damn this is GOLD PLATED (that's what the description says) which in my book screams costume jewelry. The listing goes on to advise us that the watch features a sapphire crystal and a "genuine alligator band". Shipping is extra.Did I mention that for $100,000 Zenith could no throw in $400 worth of solid 18K gold? Do I need to go on?If I were in the 100K gift giving mood for a sheik or even Bruce Wayne--I would opt for a solid gold Rolex--tastefully boxed, ribboned and thoughtfully placed on the driver's seat of a new Tesla Model S.In conclusion, wearing this watch is comparable to boasting that Bernie Madoff was your stock broker. To quote a favorite line from Tim Burton's "Batman"--"Do you know why the filthy rich are so peculiar? Because they can be".
