Few Words: It works, safe to buy if you need a VGA cableMany Words: Good standard VGA cable at a reasonable price. The only way a cable can be bad is if you can't get the right size or it's made poorly and breaks. They had a good range of lengths and I was able to get one that doesn't limit the movement of a graphics tablet but also isn't so long you have a coil of it on the floor.They packaged it properly too, in that it came in a loose enough coil that it couldn't get bent enough to damage and isn't stuck in a spiral shape even when you take it out.

I never had a VGA cable break before, so I replaced the KVM switch.I now have a good VGA cable.

Delivers a clear connection for older monitor no flicker, no fuss

This product arrived fast and worked very well with my monitor and CPU. After connectingeach end of the VGA into the monitor, and into the CPU,I highly advise plugging the power ends of each component into a surge protector plug bar,not just directly into the wall sockets.If you see a brief message on your monitor basically saying that the VGA is not connected (or somethinglike that), check each end of the VGA cable to ensure it is tightly connected.I got that message when I failed to tightly screw it into the CPU.After I tightened it, the monitor worked very well.

Discovered something in this small home project i just finished: Not all all VGA cables and switches are created equal. Some limit the options of monitor resolutions, for some reason. Probably they skip wiring some of the pins or something. The thing is that these particular VGA cables worked great! I had some fancier looking ones that i had to discard. These have a basic non-fancy look, but feel strong and well built. And they work with all the resolutions of my system!

I bought these cables for my KJ work with the screen in the computer. They’re inexpensive and work very well for what I need them for.

I was using another VGA cable bought from Amazon, which looked very sturdy and durable. But the colors on the monitor display changed from time to time. I wrongly attributed the weird colors to the blue tint of my computer glasses. But I finally figured out that my glasses weren't causing the color problem. This Rankie cable doesn't look sturdy, but it makes the monitor display perfect. I will update this review if the cable misbehaves within a year. I am going to downgrade the other cable to 1 star after I test it on other monitors, if I get the same result.
