I laughed when I thought they did not include the correct sized Allen wrench size in the box only to find one installed inside each of the handles when they fell out after setting the rid down to hard and they fell out. They are held in with magnets so they stay with the rig. I digress...If you desire better and more sturdy control, need a cold shoe for a light and a microphone and be able to attach your rig to a tripod and room for even more accessories then this is it. It holds my iPhone Pro Max perfectly and securely, but note that you cannot use this rig with a phone case on or it wont fit. The handles will require you to use the included (in the handles) Allen wrenches to tighten the handles securely and they will need tightened now and then. The front grip for an external battery works well and secure and even with my huge Ravpower battery, it held strong. I did not find that the extra weight of the huge external battery bothered my handling of the rig at all.Best of all, with the external battery on the front of the rig, the wide angle lens of my iPhone 13 Pro Max could not see it and I was pleasantly surprised. Its not a rig for every day use, but if you are out making video regularly then this two handed rig just makes it easier. I shoot lots of helicopter video and this rig has helped a lot with my hand held shots.Excellent build, everything is well made and nothing cheaply done. Other than having to keep the handles tight now and then this is a perfect rig and a must have.

I love this product. This has become my go to run-and-gun rig. It is small and versatile. I pair it with my iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPhone 13, add an RGB light, a mic or Rose Go Wireless 2 receiver and I am on my way. I feel guilty for leaving my expensive DSLRs and gimbals in favor of this rig for most of my outdoor daylight shoots. I am a small guy and I love how I can hold the grips and place my elbows on my sides for stability. Unless I am shooting something more than a few minutes, I am able to keep things stable and don’t need to add stabilization in post. I haven’t had the need to put a power brick in the mount yet, but I keep it on anyway because it doesn’t get in the way. One caveat when using an iPhone Pro Max, you will need to slide the phone farther to one side so you have plenty of room for the lightning adapter to plug in without the cage being in the way. Buy this today. You won’t regret it.

The build quality on this unit is excellent just like everything I've gotten from SmallRig. Just as advertised, it accommodates a light and mic along with a small battery pack. Overall, a very neat and tidy setup for filming. This will just barely fit an iPhone 14 Pro Max with a thin silicone case attached. I would not recommend using it without the case because I think it would still be tight and you might damage your camera. Another user said they had to slightly bend the clamp to make it fit. I did not want to do that and with enough pressure you can get the phone to fit very snugly and securely.

Pricey but so far, it is worth the money. Really like having two (2) handles to hold the rig steady. Lots of 1/4 20 connection points as well as cold shoes. Add the auxiliary battery supply carrier and you can shoot for a good long time. The build quality is excellent. Overall, does the job well just overpriced.

Sadly, I had to return this item because it wasn't a good fit for my Pixel 6 Pro. But it is a high quality bit of kit. Well made and designed. The battery holder option was a nice touch. Very useful.Ended up with the Ulanzi LINO Rig instead. Fits my phone w/out the case.

Great product & very well made. But be warned, all you get is the cage and the power bank holder. The main photo is very deceptive and that’s what I thought I was getting. Nonetheless, it seems like a great product out of the box. Now I just need to save up some money and add some accessories. (Amazon: maybe revise the main photo to NOT include the handles, mic, light, and power bank).

Excellent product

The frame is very solid metal and great handlesBUTIt is advertised as to fit iPhone 15 pro Max, on the widest setting the clamp does fit the 15proMax but as you can see in the pictures, you cannot plug anything into the phone making it very difficult to use. Plugging a charger or microphone or anything to the iPhone is not possible unless you shift it and kind of bend the iPhone out of the clamp.I bought the bigger model that’s supposed to measure 12 inches, and it does from handle to handle edge. I wish this product was 1/2 to 1 inch wider. Is there any other rigs like this?
