I love everything about this watch. From the box it arrives in, the shape, weight, functionality, looks. It's everything you will ever need for timekeeping and aesthetically pleasing. Well done Casio. The only thing I am not sure of is if one is enough or should I get the silver version too with the stainless steel bracelet.

No instructions supposed to be radio connection by waves turned on this feature didn't update time or date I'm pretty technical minded not worth the money don't buy

Great waveceptor watch super accurate. Retro style easy to use and read. Nice amber light. Some have blue. Radio connectivity for accurate time. A lovely watch for not much money.

Love this watch many functions, keeps perfect time everything changes automatically the date the Day and when seasonal forward or back plus different countries when traveling it just picks up the satellite and changes, brilliant.

Nice watch but number quite small for the available screen.wrist band looks fragile.

Reliable and has all the info you need on the face of the watch, easy to read, got it £40 which is good for the price, have all my watches set to this watch time

Although now getting hard to find, this is the third one of these watches I've owned, but I do still use the stainless steel strap that came with the first one. Because they automatically receive the time each night, it's very accurate. I have to set them up so rarely that I sometimes forget exactly what to do - so worth keeping the manual around.

Reloj radiocontrolado con multitud de opciones razonables. Capaz de recibir todas las emisoras de radiocontrol del mundo, creo que en cinco bandas diferentes de onda larga (gran alcance). En España se coge bien la DCF77 alemana y creo que la inglesa (MSF?). Corrige la hora casi a diario, para que no vaya ni un segundo mal. Cambia el horario de verano, pues tiene un listado de principales ciudades y países. Tiene detalles como el idioma, aunque apenas sea para escribir MIE como Miércoles y poder intercambiar el orden de días-meses usual en español DD-MM. Varias alarmas, cronómetro con varias funciones, temporizador, pequeña luz ámbar y una pila estándar que parece ofrecer larga duración. 12 o 24h. Suficientemente "sumergible" y con otros horarios, adecuado para viajar por el mundo. las instrucciones vienen en varios idiomas bien inteligibles, y el funcionamiento es intuitivo, ambas cosas marca de la casa, Casio. Es un reloj grande, pero no mazacote. Bastante cómodo. Las correas de goma no son las que más me agradan, pero está bien, no creo que sea de tamaño normal ni fácil de sustituir por otra (de cuero, pulsera metálica...) Lo cierto es que realiza las misma funciones que sus "hermanos mayores" Waveceptor de agujas, a mucho menor precio y posiblemente más fácil de leer y configurar por ser de display digital. Por supuesto soy también defensor de la estética de los relojes analógicos, o mixtos como la soberbia gama LineAge de Casio, pero tienen su precio. Este WV-59R es un buen reloj para aproximarse o iniciarse en los radiocontrolados. Y olvidarse de ponerlos en hora... ¿Qué no me convence del todo? Puede que su diseño, aunque es sobrio, podía haber sido más austero y lineal. Por ejemplo, creo que le sobra, la 'compartimentación del icono' de la antena (parece un parche) y le sobran etiquetas que no afectan a su función, tales como "World Time, Multi band 5, wave Ceptor, la línea roja o la propia marca. No me entusiasma la combinación en el frontal, del plateado con el negro, ni los botones, aunque responden bien. Supongo que si este reloj fuera el colmo de la elegancia en lugar de ser práctico, sería el modelo más vendido en detrimento de los otros Wave Ceptor de Casio. Lleva las calidades propias de la gama baja de Casio (plásticos metalizados, correa de goma, poco metal), que suelen ser bastante livianas y aceptables para su uso intenso. Tiene suficiente presentación en una caja metálica -es práctica, pero no me agrada mucho- buenas instrucciones en varios idiomas, y la Garantía habitual de Casio. Llegó bien y rápido.

Al vele jaren m'n favoriete model voor normaal gebruik.
