Just as expected
This worked great to add a monitor to my laptop set up and provide additional USB ports. I now have dual monitors (the laptop and another) and haven’t had any issues. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Great product
Awesome product. Just wish the silicone/rubber type c plug that goes into my laptop was longer by just barely so it would be able to sit flat on the hub next to my pc

No Power Flow Through
Nice adapter, but ended up purchasing a intpw Premium USB C Hub that does offer power flow through for my HP X2 tablet when connecting to projectors through a HDMI cable. That is my only complaint, otherwise it works fine.

Great travel dock
Small and compact, just what i needed for an extra montior. No issues with connection.

Does not support using both HDMI and VCA at the same time
I was looking for a dock that I could hook up two additional monitors to; this one seemed like it would fit the bill as a customer had asked and another answered that yes, it supports dual monitor. An HDMI splitter may work? But that requires another $70 investment, in which case I might as well get the piece from HP directly.
