Unbranded Beauty Coconut Milk Cleanser

This cleanser does nothing for me. The consistency of this cleanser can pass as a toner, it is extremely runny and just drips down your hands. It doesn’t foam or bubble and makes me feel like I’m not cleaning my face. I’m not a fan of the smell either. Can’t really describe what it smells like, but definitely not coconut milk.

I'm sure there are customers who like this product or find it beneficial ... I'm just not one of them.I'm a HUGE fan of the many skin benefits of coconut oil and its inclusion in beauty products. In fact, I cook with it, eat it every day by the spoonful, and moisturize with it. It's also excellent for "oil pulling" - swishing in the mouth for bacteria removal. Coconut oil is a major powerhouse that does absolute wonders for the skin as a cleanser, a moisturizer, ointment, etc., and has amazing anti-inflammatory properties.However, I don't usually bother with skincare products that include it, unless they're bath products because I use the real stuff all by itself and advertising of it in products can be misleading. Good quality, unrefined, cold-pressed, expensive coconut oil not only retains the divine smell but doesn't need any additives to work its magic. In solid form, it resemblesCrisco. When it melts at body tempterature, it's a clear oil. Only the real stuff has the coconut smell. In skincare, coconut fragrance has to be added, and usually worthless refined versions of the oil are in ingredients.This product contains no coconut smell or any meaningful amount or quality of coconut oil. All the good oils are toward the bottom of the ingredient list and don't matter. Worthless safflower oil is at the top, and none of the good ingredients are in the top 5. The odor of this cleanser is vile. The smell is a cross between chemical, soapy, and overpowering rosemary extract (which is near the bottom of the list, but still overpowering).I hold brands to account for their claims and ingredients. No skincare appeals to me that smells awful or uses irritating ingredients. There were enough irritating ingredients for me (safflower, sunflower, rosemary) that I had to test it on my hand, rather than my face. It burned, smelled terrible, and the lingering smell was difficult to wash off my hand. IMO, this is an irritating cleanser that trades off the coconut name and therefore misleads customers into assuming it will smell like coconut and contain all the oil's benefits. Whatever quality of coconut oil is in this cleanser is no better than cooking oil. Look elsewhere.

I've tried four products from this brand. Three of them were unimpressive. I will use the contents on hand, but I would not order them again. The fourth product was terrible and has already found its way to my garbage. I thought it might be helpful to comment on all of the products, since most people like to order items from the same product line.Coconut Milk Cleanser - This cleanser does not smell anything like coconut, which was a big disappointment. It also does not form a lather, which is an even bigger disappointment. It does seem to clean the skin well, but without the lather, I don't feel like it's doing anything.Plump Your Pout Lip Plumper - This product did not plump my lips AT ALL. The only thing it did was form a red (irritation) circle around the outside of my lips for about an hour. I did not experience any burning sensation, but the irritation around my lips seems to indicate that the product is not a good fit for me.Moisture Mist 4-in-1 Setting Spray - This product sprays on in a fine mist and dries quickly. However, I do not find that it extends the life of my makeup. I did not experience any negative effects from it, but I also didn't notice anything positive about it.Cloudberry Cooling Cream - This product is a blue gel which cools the face. The sensation could be nice on a warm summer day; however, it stays tacky feeling and never quite dries. My long hair sticks to my face when I wear this. I plan to use this on my arms and shoulders on hot days.Overall, I am disappointed in this brand of skincare products. They seem to be average quality, at best, with a premium price tag.

A milky white coconut cleansing lotion that reminds me a little bit of a cleansing oil. More like a thin cream than watery. A very nice consistency that dissolves unwanted sebum and make-up off the face. Helps to cleanse away dead skin cells and other debris.Because it seems to be much like a cleansing oil, you don't get much of any lathering, but it does spread over the face and feels good. I do need to use a little bit more of this lotion than a other types in order to cover my entire face.Afterwards, my skin feels nice and soft. This cleanser is best for those on the drier half of the ph spectrum. Seems as though it would be good for sensitive skin. Not much of any scent. Seems nice and clean. Will be good using after being out in the sun. Good for men as well as women. It comes in a smallish bottle (4 fluid ounces) which make this good for travel.

Great to give in a gift basket for for someone as a gift. This is a really great beauty product. I've used this many times at this point without any issues. Value for this is amazing. This was packaged perfectly and the item arrived intact without any leaking. I will continue to buy this and I highly recommend this!
