Nice ice sled and shelter but heavy.
This is typical Eskimo quality. It works like it’s supposed to. I wish it were lighter and easier to pull, but I didn’t want to spring for the more expensive ones either. I put a runner kit on it and it helps, but it isn’t any lighter. It’s nice to use and I really enjoy the ability to spread it wider. Very easy to stay comfortable in. Hold my gear well and fits in the back of my old pathfinder.

Not a "kit"
When I read reviews before purchasing I was a little miffed by the person who complained about there being no pilot holes. However after receiving the product I understand his position. To the Eskimo company I say the following:Guys lets be honest 3 strips of UHMV and a handful of screws, washers, and locknuts does not equal a "kit". First and foremost not only were the strips not equal length they look like they were cut off with a dull hacksaw by a grade schooler, the ends were nowhere straight! Furthermore the burrs from cutting left on the the strips. The square cut ends become snag points that are going to catch and potentially crack or rip the bolts out of the sled. The first thing I did after cleaning up the ends was put a decent radius on the corners. Preparing the ends is going to save your customer service department a lot of complaints. I then laid out and predrilled the boltholes to make drilling the holes in the sled itself easier. How about a template for the not so handy people. I'm giving 4 stars because I feel the quality of the materials was good but if Im going to order a "kit" it should be something a little more refined. I could have went to home depo or Lowe's and bought the same stuff off the shelf. I had hoped that buy purchasing a kit it would be properly designed and fit to match my Ice shelter. You can and should do so much better if your going to sell it as a kit.

Love it
I love this little shack, fairly easy to assemble. Makes ice fishing fun, and relaxing(would not recommend for a person who’s tall) I fished all the time, also the thermal lining is a god send, especially with a heater buddy. I fished -15 degrees and I took off my coat because it was too darn hot with that little heater buddy. Eskimo kept me super warm and out of the elements. Great for a person 5’9 or shorter and who fishes alone…
