Interesting reading
Some of the instructions were easy to understand, but most were hard to follow

A well researched book on healing remedies: A keeper
Well researched, great cross-index, and layed out in a straight forward manner that makes reading easy. This book is a great beginning to the health reading of disease and treatment by Edgar Cayce. Although the treatment is put first, the back index allows us to reference the condition and it's subsequent treatment. This book should be used in conjunction with the A.R.E. online information to bring a clearer picture to our understanding. It is really nice to have a physical book for reference, but even better to get online information to help bring these ideas to flower. I recommend this book because it is a keeper. As a book lover, nothing is as intimate as your own private copy. The Cayce readings in health cannot be contained in one book of 350 pages, but this will be the beginning to a great start. Her focus is primarily physical, and so far, she seems to have missed the deeper intent of Cayce's work. This is actually the only shortcoming of this book: the neglect of the mental and spiritual condition that created the physical result. True Cayce fans will know of what I speak. She tends to treat the body, but Cayce's intent is to treat the person who created their own conditions.Still, I definitely recommend this book. Elaine has also written exemplary articles on health online, and, since I found her insights useful, I decided to give back by purchasing her book. Yet, I use both, online articles through the A.R.E. and books by my favorite Cayce authors. I hope you enjoy this book. The only issue I have with the book is it's mass market title. Quick and Easy sounds like a pancake mix. The idea behind these remedies is to be done slowly, with regularity, with a definite purpose in mind, and towards giving back what you get for others. In this, Elaine completely misses the mark, and the intent of Cayce's work. As Cayce once said: " Why do you want to be healed? Is it for yourself or to be better for other people? If it is for yourself, you would be better off not beginning." The intent of this work is to heal and uplift others from the grace that was given to you. Elaine has neglected to establish this premise as the foundation for all these treatments. This definitely needs to be stated clearly.

an aid memoire
Edgar Cayce, a man widely disregarded by the scientific community, doles out plain and simple ideas about healing. This book is a synopsis of those ideas if you do not want to wade through all Mr Cayce's tomes. It makes easy reading and good advice. In my case I suffered from lymphoedema as a rersult of surgery. THe obvious remedy is antibiotics , the not so obvious remedy is a savoy cabbage leaf poultice. Science has not bothered to consider why a poultice works neither has the Pharmacological industry but eventually they will. My advice - read this book frst - it might do you some good to folow its precepts.

We lost many books when we moved and this book was very precious to our family.
This book was supposed to arrive at a much later date because of the health situation however, because of the work we do, it was imperative to get it back in our library for medical purposes. Thank you so much, it is greatly appreciated. Great customer service and our family and many others we care for thank you.
