I bought this pair of 72mm lens caps in case I lose my original one. That skinny cord that you can attach to the lens cap and to the camera, I do not use it. Some people thought it would break very easily, well let me tell you that's far from the truth. I wrapped it on two of my fingers on both hands, I huffed and I puffed, to no avail could I break it. I don't know what it's made of, it's like braid fishing line, very thin and very STRONG!

Overall I am happy with the lens cap.Stays on the front of lens well, the face of the cap is flat. good solid action of the pushers.What i do not like is the indents for on the top of the cap are too shallow to effectively remove the cap (i.e. removing the cap when a lens hood is on), I end up pushing on of them in and flicking the cap off. This could of been remedied with making the cap deeper.

Exactly as described ! Super fast delivery ! Instead of using the adhesive piece (which I removed) I heated a pin and made 2 small holes in the Lens Cap near the edge and looped the the Lens Cap Keeper through it. Now it's exactly like a Nikon lens cap and you never have to worry about the adhesive wearing out !!!

Absolutely awful product. Should not exist. First of all the string of the cap keeper is like half a millimeter thick and would doubtless break at the slightest tug, and second for some reason you’re required to tie the knots yourself. Stupid. Go to London Drugs or Kerrisdale Cameras and spend $10 on an Optex one with a thick elastic cap keeper and you’ll be set.

I would purchase again as the filter was exactly as described and shipped quickly, arrive on time for an event that I needed it for! Great price too!
