Fender Custom Shop at 30 Years

What a marvelous book!! The many histories behind the "masterbuilt" Fender guitars are truly fascinating & inspirational. The photography of the beautiful & extremely unique musical instruments is amazing. Looking at the images of the guitars & the artisans who made them while reading their stories took me into a magical world that is actually real! Thank you Mr. Pitkin.

This book is amazing to say the least. These people put their hearts and souls into their work, and it shows. Mr. Pitkin has captured the essence of what they do in his exquisite photographs. The true craftsmanship truly shines through in this book. I highly recommend this book to all.

As I studied the amazing photos and read the insightful narrative I sometimes wanted to see or know more. Then, turning to the next page, I'd see the answer! Will return to browse these pages again and again.

Wonderful book! So cool to see a detailed picture of the unique guitars and then be able to read about the backstory of each. A "must have" for any coffee table or library.

Anyone who appreciates craftsmanship, creativity and gorgeous photography will cherish this book. It's doubly cool that the objects are the iconic Fender guitars - whose design and storied history are enough to bring interest - but it's what those wizards in the Fender Custom Shop have done to each guitar that is an amazing. Pitkin has such a good eye for the right elements to highlight. It's so nice to see the book format used so well. Cuddle up and enjoy the work of masters. Now I know what to buy every guitar player I know for their birthday.
