This review is for eight different "Prank Pack" boxes. We give the adult kids in the family cash as gifts, but I always like to present the money wrapped in some way. Over the years I have stuck the money in books, cds, dvds, and boxed cake mixes, so when I found these prank boxes I knew I had to have them. They were a hit! I had such fun watching each one's expression as he or she opened the gift, initially thinking it was really strange and Mom was nuts, then realizing it was a joke. From there, the boxes got passed around with the occasional "Y'all listen to this!" as one read aloud the features of his new "gift". Great idea!

Hilarious! I used this during a White Elephant, or whatever those gift exchanges are where someone can trade for your gift. I should have kept quiet and waited to see how long it took people to realize that the actual gift was inside, and that this wasn't the real gift. Oh well, there's always next year.Now here's a problem.... I think the person who ended up with my gift would rather have had what was on the prank box!It made the gift exchange even more fun, so thank you! Don't hesitate on ordering this product.

Yes, this object is just a box, and it's made out of what feels like glossy cardstock rather than actual cardboard. As such, if not reinforced by the gift on the inside, the box has a tendency to feel flimsy and wiggle around. That said, this is a minor problem that is outweighed by the main purpose of the box. The "Dream Griddle" is a really clever idea that is just absurd enough to be humorous, yet it is also believable enough that my sister did not at all question the fact that such a product existed.In my case I filled the box with blocks and bricks to add heft and structure and inside hid a small case full of money (and a fake spider on top of that). The gift was received with laughter by all people present, but I actually had to go out of my way to tell them 4 minutes later that there in fact wasn't a griddle inside, so that's a double-edged sword.Overall, the clever, realistic design makes for great surprises.

So you've got to plan this out. Start by telling your spouse you want to get a griddle. Fit it into conversation and let them object. Talk about how you'd like breakfast to be ready in the morning just like the coffee. Mention the Alexa-ready microwave and how you could set it to cook breakfast.Then on gift day, fill the box with the real gift and some heavy stuff. If they open the gift first, don't let them open the box. Wait for all the gits to be opened and then save the real gift part for last. Hilarity will ensue!

Oh my goodness - I bought Christmas gifts and wrapped them up inside the box. I've done it for birthday presents too. It's all I can do to keep a straight face as they open the box, and I've bought some of the other prank boxes, so people don't guess what I'm up to immediately!To watch people politely open the gift wrap, study the picture and attempt to thank me for the gift is just hilarious! Totally worth the money! I just consider it part of the gift giving experience!

This prank box was hilarious. I used it at a white elephant christmas party and everyone thought it was a legitimate product. A lot of people wanted the gift just to get the box. The box looks pretty convincing, and it's great. It's probably close to the size of a small USPS box.

Great idea for boxing a present. It was a hit at our gathering. Such a surprise for everyone. So much fun!
