NOVA Designer Offset Handle Cane, Viva Las Vegas

This is a very nice cane. Nothing fancy - just a typical aluminum cane with a bent handle and a non-slip tip. The handle is nicely padded, and includes a wrist band. Light weight, but very sturdy. Although the description does not state so specifically, it is adjustable. It ranges from 28 inches to 39 inches from the base to the top of the handle (all measurements are plus/minus about a quarter inch). It uses a spring-loaded button that you push in, then adjust the cane height. There are a total of 12 adjustment holes, each spaced about one inch apart. This adjustment method does take some hand strength to do, but it is very sturdy - it's pretty much impossible for the button to slip out of the hole once it has been set. There's a locking ring that gives further assurance that the cane won't budge in height once set. A basic cane that does a good job at a great price (at least if you get it in black - some of the other colors are more expensive).

I buy things for all kinds of crazy reasons. In this case my wife had three canes that she thought were ugly. I bought this cane so that she would have one that looked nice. What I got was so much more. Extremely well built. Any easy way to set the cane to the proper height. Yet sturdy enough that she feels very safe with it. Excellent quality product at a reasonable price. Oh, and by the way, it truly is attractive. (I got the red one.)

I use this cane due for support and stability while walking and standing. I am still recuperating from back and hip surgeries and this cane fits my needs perfectly. It is lightweight, yet provides the right amount of stability and ease of movement. I can go anywhere, and enjoy outings because of this cane. It adjusts easily to accommodate my height, and the handle is soft yet stable, and the bottom has a firm grip so I do not slide when walking on wood or linoleum. I get many compliments on the colorful pattern of this cane and tell people order it on Amazon!

I have had several nasty falls and accepted that I need some help to stabilize my gait. I really carry it to give me balance when I get a little shaky. I carry it with me but do not lean on it all the time. It's sturdy and adjustable. I am 5'4" and the cane can be easily adjusted for different heights. There are different patterns to choose from. I even had a stranger comment on how much she liked the design. I hope I don't have to, but I would surely buy it again.
