I first purchased these last year after a surge in fruit flies. I placed one in the dining room near a fruit bowl and one in the kitchen. As others have mentioned, after a few days I didn't notice much difference - the flies seemed to buzz around but didn't go in. I can only suggest you persevere if this happens - I didn't touch or move the traps and after a couple of weeks they started to go in, another week or 2 and there were no flies around at all. With the warmer weather I've noticed another surge of flies around so have stocked up on these traps, I will keep them around all the time now and just hope they have the same impact as before.

Update: The batch isn’t working this year, not sure why, as last year it was excellent and really did its job. There has to be something different about how they have made them up. as it should have worked. Such a shame as we now have another delivery on its way, due to putting it on subscription. Probably will cancel anymore of them, if not going to work. Had to change rating, due to this issue. Will update on this next batch that come out. We have been suffering with a massive fruit fly invasion in our kitchen and then they started invading our living room. Tried everything to get rid of them, but nothing was working. I knew I wanted something natural and without chemicals, as they affect both of us with our breathing otherwise. When searching came across this particular brand and liked the idea of being able to purchase multiple bottles for maximum impact. We opted for set of 6. They Arrived the same day as which was a relief as at that point I was beside myself with these tiny flying creatures, all over my work tops etc. We initially didnt' think these were working as had placed 1 by the kitchen sink and they weren't going near it but gathering by my kitchen sink. We couldn't see any action on the bottle. But! the following day we had added another bottle to our kitchen and we then started to see flys gathering on 1 of the bottles and by evening we could see some had gotten in and so on and it keeps working now and we have had lots of them now inside both bottles. The smell isn't too bad either, just vinegar and doesn't make the room smell. The bottles themselves are unobtrusive and small, so don't take up a lot of space, which is handy. Build quality is robust plastic and they do catch the flys. We were at the end of our tether with these things flying and crawling all over our kitchen, including inside our cupboards and bins etc, we are very pleased to have given this product a try and will recommend to others. Tip: do make sure you follow the advice to wipe the inside of the rim, once the lid is removed, as it will help the flys to get inside and not trapped on the sticky solution before getting inside the bottle. They do work! Only downside is the cost of these, as we had to use them right un until November and it will work out quite costly having to do this from early March right through, as they are stubborn creatures and come inside early in the year until very late.

Seems ok .. has collected some fruit flies ..still have many that don’t seem to be interested ..hopefully in a day or 2 many more will take a dip ! Great adhesive and holds well even after several adjustments to place suitably..would advise giving the traps a little shake every couple of days as the sediment seems to settle at the bottom of the pots

We got infested by fruit flies and I mean 100s of them. Super Ninja Fruit Fly Trap - 2 pack, arrived the next day and it looked like the fruit flies had doubled. put these two out one near the fruit bowel and one near the kitchen food waste bin. the following day. all the flies were gone.

Plenty of liquid inside, sticks to the wall nicely. One thing to note - I bought this as we have lots of small flies around the seedlings we're growing in the window. I believe these are called fungus gnats, not fruit flies. I'd hoped this would help with those, but it seems they prefer damp to fruit/sugar. No fault of the product, as it's not advertsised to help with fungus gnats. Just be aware that if you have that problem then this likely won't help!

Initially, when I ordered these they were very effective apart from one container. However, on the following orders they are hardly effective in attracting flies... it would have had 4-5 stars if the following orders were effective like the initial. I will not order these again.

I really hesitated on buying this since comments where really split between loving this product and finding it totally ineffective. After 1 month of exposing these in my kitchen I realize that the latter just didn't wait long enough before writing a comment. I had a REAL fruit fly problem. In the middle of winter. Out of nowhere! A real invasion! They were everywhere! Set a few of these out.. and just waited to see... and of im honest.. without much hope! And.. little by little.. it did it's job! After 10days we saw a Real difference and now to be honest.. there are still 1 or 2 around bit when I cross their path Im actually surprised.. confident that the last 2-3 flies will join their mates in a close future!! Will completely buy this again if needed and recommend! Thank you!

Homemade works butter, this did not catch any flies

Muy buen producto, tarda un poco en hacer efecto y en que caigan las moscas dentro pero es cuestión de días y se ve el resultado aunque visualmente no sea agradable. Pero ya es la 3era vez que lo compro y siempre lo recomiendo.
