It is a great recording device. Recorded sound is very clear. It is easy to use with long battery life. I am really satisfied. The device is compact and pen-shaped, very convenient and easy to put in your pocket, just click and you don't need to take notes during the meeting. This pen will help you review all that was discussed in the meeting. Great!

The pen is great easy to use but one thing is when you plug to ur PC it have Trojan (maybe spying virus) and the windows protection detect it and give u address to remove but why a new product should have a virus🤔?

At first I was simply annoyed that you could never tell if the device was on or off, without clicking it, and feeling the state afterwards, and then possibly reclicking if it went to the wrong state. You can't reliably tell by looking at it if its recording or not. Theoretically you should be able to tell by the pen plunger state, but not really. Cant really feel it, maybe after a SIGNIFICANT amount of blind testing you could tell, but it's going to take a long time to get to that point, by that time, you've missed all the things you wanted to record, because it was in the opposite state that you wanted it to be in, PLUS, since you couldn't tell it was activated, the battery is more than likely long depleted, recording nothing.Which leads to the second problem, the plunger on/off system is too useless. Its a nice idea, if it had some resistence, but its way too incredibly easy to be accidentally turned on or off when you don't really want it to be, simply by it rubbing on something.Lastly, I've only had it for like a month, barely used, and it already seems to be completely dead as a door nob, can't get in to grab any of the files or anything.

The pen is sleek, easy to carry, & enables me to use my pen without being obvious. I want to get my ideas in my head out on paper or voice before I forget them. I am practicing to be a satirist and graphic designer to start a portfolio and blog. If I were a spy it would also be great. The learning curve is going to be steep. I am not a techie but I want this so badly that I am willing to slog through learning it. Love it.

I purchased this to help me stay on top of long and often tedious meetings where I tend to lose concentration. At first glance, the built quality seemed impressive, and I was excited about the discreet recording capabilities. However, my experience with it has been somewhat mixed. On the positive side, the design feels sturdy, making it easy to carry around without drawing any attention during meetings. The discreet recording feature is a major plus, but here's the catch: the sound quality is a bit hit or miss. If the speaker's direction and distance are perfectly aligned with the recorder, the audio comes out reasonably clear. Unfortunately, in meetings with multiple people speaking from different directions and distances, I found myself constantly adjusting the volume, and background noise made it challenging when listening. Ultimately, while it serves its purpose discreetly, its limitations in handling multi-directional conversations and background noise leave something to be desired.

I have owned several different brands of recorder pens. This TcTec pen is by far the best. What I like best about it is the ease of discreetly turning it on and off, the slim form factor (which looks just like a regular pen), the quality of the recording, and the fact that you don't need a proprietary cable for connecting to a computer. A huge plus is the company's customer service, which is responsive and incredibly helpful.

In these days of liars and people who constantly go back on their word, I advise you to get a recording for your records and keep it this tool with you at all times especially when you are doing business. Check your state laws on recording conversations. Thankfully I live in a state one party consent state, which means as long as I am party to the conversation, I can record it unbeknownst to the others involved in the conversation.This device works well, has a very good storage system and good battery life. Transferring files to my computer is a breeze.Don't do business without this valuable tool. You may come to regret you didn't have it with you.
