Compact BCD switches
These switches are binary coded decimal output - 4 data lines and one common, contacts close to represent a logic high, so for +ve logic take the common to +Vss. The lines represent 8,4,2 and 1, so 7 on the display will close contacts 4,2 and 1, while 9 displayed will close 8 and 1, and so on.They can simply be snapped together in any required number, there is no "carry" - incrementing from 9 to 0 will not advance the next switch up.
