Great tool.
I bought this to use with a punch to drive out roll pins.Wasnt sure exactly how well it would work.I hammered on a punch till it broke. Then I bought this. The pin was out in seconds. I may never use it for nails but when I drive pins it is with me.It seems to be very well made.Ill update this review if I have trouble with it. But for now I think it is the greatest.

Great compact nailer
I purchased this nailer to attach 2x4 fence clips to the posts on my cedar fence. I was surprised at how small it is when the package arrived and considered returning it for the larger Senco model. Very happy I kept this as it drive nails easily and accurately. This makes attaching metal clips or hangers a snap as the magnetic nose holds the nail in the nailer allowing you to position and hold the hanger with one hand while you nail with the other. It made short work of the 1 1/4 inch joist nails and 8d nails.

Senco Mini Palm Nailer
Purchased a full size Senco the month before and loved it. I did have areas of my restoration work that were so close that the full size didn't fit so I decided to try the Mini. It works so well as a compliment to my full size that not only do I use this in the really tight spaces but I purchased the Senco Joist Hanger nailer.Really pleased with Senco so far but as we all know how are they working two or three years later. I purchased a Rol-Air compressor to use for my different nailers and that is the best compressor I've ever owned (it's twenty eight years old and out runs my other compressors by far).

Quality seems good, it's obviously the compact version though.
From my experience with this it requires the high end a compressors air pressure range. It almost seemed to stall when it got maybe below 75 or so psi. The only typically used nails I couldn't fit the head over were galvanized 16d nails, the heads were too wide. It worked great on 16d vinyl coated sinker nails though. Very handy for tight locations, but I think you get quite a bit of vibration from it, my hands were acting up for several days after using it to drive 40-50 3 1/2" nails. It's a bit slower than a full size palm nailer, as should be expected.

Best $$ Ive spent...EVER!
Dont know how I have lived without a palm nailer for this long. Really helped speed things up during the construction of our porch. Plenty of power to drive nails and it is so small! Only problem I had was the bulk nails I purchased had some deformed heads and they did not sit too well in the nailer.I also used it in the construction of a floor in a 1840s barn. Had to set some nails into 100+ year old chestnut (very hard/dense wood) and the tool held up just great.

Great tool - Senco Mini Palm Nailer
The Senco Mini Palm Nailer is all that it is advertised to be. Very minimal impact to the hand, yet it drives nails flush into hard and soft woods alike. Old Yellow Pine joists were handled with ease. The unit has a magnet to hold the nail and a collar to guide the angle of nailing. In a recent job, I was able to drive 3" framing nails at arms length in an area that I could not swing a hammer. It was one of those repairs where you can either see what needs done or put your arm and hand in to touch it, but not both. I set about the repair by feel using the Senco Mini Palm Nailer, yet the "mini" let me finish the job perfectly.

Junk
As has been stated in previous reviews....its junk, the internal piston on mine broke. Ive had it since November, but havent used it much. Five nails into the day last Tuesday it would drive no more. I opened it up several days later and found that the CAST piece inside had broken all the way through, making two pieces of the driver and piston... stay away from it. Ive owned a couple of the Grip Right minis before and they are of better quality, go with that one and save the headache.

Reliable but
After a few hours of use, this tool jams and to fix it, you need to bang it around (against a wood surface) on all sides to loosen up the inside mechanicals. Many nails have different head sizes and some do not fit in this small palm nailer. I must say though, it has proven to be an indispensible tool. I would buy again.
