Great read and visual, it fills in a good portion of the back story missing in the film itself. It is good to see specific items and lore explained, which do add to the tapestry of it’s mythos.

Came within a few days of ordering (without prime) and was not disappointed.Great comics.

I've always been a big fan of the Dark Crystal story. It is a nice peak into the mythology of the world. No spoilers but any fan that wants to know more about the lore of the Mystics and Skeksis will love this.

The "Dark Crystal" is a cult classic movie for me, so this series was somewhat essential to my collection. Although the story is a little vague and basic (like 3rd grade reading level), I thoroughly enjoyed it. The concepts are true to the original movie and the artwork is exquisite.

As a big fan of the original film I’m looking forward to the upcoming prequel tv series. This is the perfect binge read before if comes out! Second in the prequel trilogy. A quick read with great illustrations. Particularly like the Brian Froud sketchbook pages st the back - great bonus!

Wow! Gry and Kel are a reflection of Jen and Kira and have similar personalities. Gelflings are equal, they walk all paths of life. A Deviant Art user drew the younger versions of the Skeksis and I always wondered where she got it from. Now I know!
