I like the style and the quality. It looks very small but does hold 2 cups of liquid.

Yes, it looks small, but it does handle 2 cups (16 oz). Just because people are drinking out of mugs these days, that doesn’t change that 2 cups combined equal 16 oz. I measured out the water in a measuring cup and poured it in the pot and this has the capacity for 2 cups (16 oz) Now, measure how many ounces your mug can hold and if it’s 12 oz or more, this pot may be too small for you. If you drink more than one mug, this also may not work for you. Otherwise, if you drink out of regular sized tea cups (about 4 - 6 oz), this would be perfect for 1-2 people.There is a slot in the infuser basket so the lip of the lid can slide into so that the lid sits perfectly. There is no problem with the lid not sitting perfectly when the infuser is in the pot. Functions perfectly as it should.This is just an adorable little teapot. I love it!

Since I am the only one in my household that drinks tea, I was looking for a smaller teapot, and this 16 oz teapot is exactly what I was looking for! This teapot is 2 cups, so it is perfect for me because I like to drink quite a large amount of tea at a time, and I don't tend to like to drink out of little teacups.I make my tea a little differently than I guess is intended-- I do not put my tea in the infuser basket, because as I quickly found out, the amount of tea that you should use for 16 oz, once the leaves expands, can sometimes allow the leaves to fall out of the infuser and into your cup. Therefore, I put the tea leaves directly into the teapot, where they can expand fully and infuse the water more readily, then I use the infuser as a strainer. I find this works MUCH better for me.

My small, white, excelent quality tea pot arrived today. It is perfect for me to make two china cups of tea when I want only tea for me. One feature I notice some reviewers have complained about is that they indicate that the lid will NOT go down tight when they use the excellent quality loose leaf, medal strainer. If they don't know this, the lid WILL go down tight if they notice the slot in the metal strainer which is there to slide the part of the lid inside rim that has the extension which will fit perfectly into the slot in the strainer. This tea pot has been engineered perfectly and functions perfectly if these features are follwed. I love this tea pot and can't wait to use it today ! Patricia Z. MacDonald

Description says it's a 2-cup pot which is a bit misleading for our bigger mugs of today. But it works perfectly for why I bought it for my office desk. I want to keep the water hot while the tea is steeping. And it definitely keeps the water hot. Great buy.

This is the perfect teapot for one person. It will make enough for two regular size cups of tea or one big mug full. I even tested the glaze to make sure that it is lead free and it passed the test.

Perfect size. Lovely pottery. And makes a great cup of tea. Also keeps it hot well and looks nice on the table with fine china. A great buy.

My fault for not reading the description closely. This not a normal size teapot. It is only 16 oz or 2 cups. I was expecting something much larger. Otherwise the quality is fine, but pricey for something so tiny.

Nice looking LITTLE teapot. I am not sure if I will even get one good sized mug of tea from it. Disappointed with the price for something so small that was made in China.

This is a nice teapot but as others have said, it is very small. I don’t find that it drips at all

Nicely designed; just what we were looking for at a reasonable price. Being dishwasher safe is a bonus.

Pros: good size for a single drinker.Cons: drippy and the lid doesn't sit right when using an infuser.
