TAFT Rome Boot Handcrafted Leather Men’s Dress Boot

First of all, these boots run about a whole size too large. Secondly, these boots had a lot of potential in quality. What is very frustrating is the contrasting “stylish” patterned leather that makes up the center of the boot that ruins it. It almost has an uncomfortable and look and feel to it aesthetically. It reminds me of a leper, or an old sickly man’s skin. If they had simply done a traditional captoeboot, without the unique and odd styling, these boots to be rockin. I returned them.

The media could not be loaded. I guess they are ok. Not quite the luster I had expected in the pictures. I'll have to take them down to the cobbler to see what we can do. The vamp is gorgeous, but the cap has a genuine leather appearance and feel. A thinness and dullness one would expect from a 50 dollar boot at a TJ Max. Edges are gorgeous, but now I have to tackle trying to polish the cap without tarnishing the edge. Fairly disappointing.

Wow. The sizing really is no joke. I’m normally a 6.5 and I ordered a 6 even after TAFT directly told me to order my normal size and they’re still about 2 sizes too big. So disappointed. Would’ve bought so many pairs if they even remotely fit
