Good to go!!
I'm six feet /212 lb. I ordered XXL and it fits well. My only gripe is the chest protector being too large, but I wear a leather vest over it to keep everything in place. I've been riding with this product for a few months and it holds up well. I wear this more than my similar products do to the coverage of protection. The collarbone protection is annoying it first but you will quickly get used to it. I purchase this particular gear because my friend broke his collarbone with his helmet during a crash. I feel this particular gear will prevent this from happening. I haven't had a full crash in it yet, just a few trips and falls due to clumsiness. So far so good!!

Probably would've been fine for a guy. Women take note.
The build quality on this is actually pretty solid--on the armor, anyway. The mesh underlining already had a tear in it when I pulled the jacket from the box, so I wouldn't expect it to last long.Anyway. I bought this hoping it would fit me fine, because I normally wear products sized for men without any problem. And I could've made this work, honestly, were the back-to-front straps adjustable for size/length. But they're not. They aren't shown in the photo, but there are straps on the back shoulder blade area that you are meant to rotate around and screw into the front. I'm sure it's an optional feature for men, but as a woman, those straps would be the only way for me to get the armor flat against my chest--and I'm already pretty flat-chested. But the straps only have a single opening you can insert the screw through, rather than having several all the way up to be able to adjust. As such, the armor was overly bulky and would've been extremely uncomfortable [not to mention unsightly] to ride in.Were I a man, I have no doubts that I would've loved this, and I'm very disappointed to have to immediately be returning it. I guess I have to look for female-specific armor. Here's hoping I can find a manufacturer that didn't feel the need to throw pastels on it.

I'm not sure
Where do I start. I'm 5,10 170-180pnds.. I got the Xl size. . First, the Armor fits good, its strong or strong enough where I believe it will take the impact just fine. . It might crack, but its better you have this on. If you've ever played ice hockey, it resembles a chest protector and elbow pads stuck together on some thin shirt. .elbow pad area comes adjustable to be able to tighten. .product shipped very quick. Got it the day after I ordered. Order Monday got it Wednesday. ..Flaws. . You want to pull off this piece by the strong sections, you don't want to continue tugging and pulling the weak areas, I could see a good tear in the near futureif I get lazy...Where you zip it up in the front is semi weak, another area to take it slow and zip it up...One review said it was hard to turn your head left to right, which it is.. you almost handicap yourself. . At a red light turning right trying to turn your head slighlty enough left to see traffic is nearly impossible uunless you shift your entire body. .I ended up cutting the stitching that held the shoulder pad, removed it and it gave me back the ability to move my head around. .. it didn't ruin the jacket, and looks pretty good still....This might be worth the money, but I do own a leather jacket as well, and soon I might get rid of the front Armor and just keep the back Armor and elbow pads.. Might even try putting the back Armor in my leather, it has a spot for it. Will it fit is questionable. . So you might want to look at just back Armor and some elbow pads to wear under your jacket. . I see elbows being the first thing hitting the ground, but anything is possible. .Id give it 3 and a half stars

safety First, its cool.
I bought this only because of price and CE rating. Its far better than I expected, arrived quickly in great packaging. I've worn it plenty. It allows me to wear any jacket I want. What am I going to do with the other 6 armor jackets I have? Face it, you don't ride unless its nice out. And most people don't wear armor because its too hot. That's not a problem with this jacket. If you could wear AC on a bike this would be it! It was 80 yesterday and two hours before sunset I had to put something over this or risk freezing to death. It fits nice and tight like it should. I ordered my actual size. No negatives about this in over 1000 miles. Plus, the Velcro waist band, cooling and the feel that if something goes wrong you've done your best to prevent injury and no doubt in my mind this jacket will protect!!!! The spine protection on this is unequalled!!! And due to its cooling effect it will be on when I ride instead of home in the closet. And I would order from the seller again no doubt. Great service and price.

Cheaply made
I got a medium, as I am not a very large person. Right off the bat nothing fit properly, the chest plate part was way to tall, there are these shoulder strap deals that stick up off my shoulder area, seems like they have one size of those, and just slap them on all sizes. For the money I guess its not that bad, but only if it fits you properly. I will be returning this item.

Great. I feel Safe.
Great quality. I will say that I have not fallen with these (knock on wood). But I can tell just from having it on that it will be useful if such an event did occur. I got the medium and it fit just perfect. I am 5ft 8inches and fit. I do like the fact that this is not a fish net mesh but a full threaded breathable shirt like mesh. The hard plastic pads are thick enough to protect from impact or sliding but are also bendable with your hand. The back "spine" area is heavily protected. This is for the biker who lives in a warm/humid climate and dose not feel like spending $200+ on a jacket. This will provide the same protection. I initially purchased an alpine star jacket for $245 but ended up returning it for this. No regrets so far.
