Great Aviation Teach Tool!
I am a student pilot and wanted a way to visually practice my manuvers with this model. It comes with a short 10-12" of runway that plugs together like puzzle pieces. This is great for student pilots and flight instructors to show how to take off and land on a runway, perform approaches, and illustrate crosswind and short takeoffs on the provided runway. Cool. I ordered all three at one time, Hot Wings Piper Cherokee, Hot Wings Beechcraft Bonanza, and Hot Wings Cessna 172 Shyhawk. These models are die cast- type and are fun. I know if a youngster is interested in aviation, this would be a great gift!

Didn't last long
I bought this for my husband when he finished his private pilot's license. This was the plane he took his check ride in and I thought it would be fun to have as a memento. It was...for two days. Then my four year old got a hold of it and it is now in several pieces. The propeller and wheels snapped right off. I think it is great as decor or to be placed on a shelf, but don't let your kids play with it. It is not sturdy enough for young ones.

I use this specifically as a demonstration model. I can have it in the air and use a protractor for angles.... Quite a tool considering it's a model.

Great gift idea!
My 13 year old nephew loved this! The plane is very realistic looking and comes with a landing pad. He has it displayed in his room.

Best toy airplane model in this size-ever!
The quality was amazing. The kids love it but the propeller should have a replacement since it is plastic. These are heavy quality metal. I flew this plane too so I bought one for the kids. I made them an airplane mat with grass and pavement colored paints on cardboard.

Plane is 3.875" long front to back. Size statements are misleading
PilotStoresUSA says it is 5" long. It is not. The product information says 11.6" which is not the plane. Just be up front about it.

Pretty well made.
Pretty well made. The propeller and struts are made of cheap plastic. Kind of middle of the road for detail but okay for display.

Very nice and I like the little runway it comes with. The only thing is the nose broke off pretty soon after we received it.
