Don't know why the car manufacturers don't engineer their cars to do this
Well, I'm pretty sure it has to do with MPG's (which may or may not be affected, although I have a feeling it may be reduced just a bit), but the immediate improvement in acceleration and increase in the joy of driving is worth it. Most newer cars that offer different drive modes will by default be in either eco or comfort mode during start-up...I prefer the "sport" mode, which requires me to turn the knob every time I start or restart the car. With this device, on my car (2023 Geneses G70 3.3T), at the 2.5 level, the car feels like it's in sport mode upon start up, and greatly reduces the feel of any turbo lag (which bothered me with this car, after coming from a Dodge Scat Pack Hemi). However, because it's only opening up the throttle body more with less pedal depression (the cause of the increased acceleration), the car is not "really" in sport mode (which in my car also changes transmission settings and steering setting). But, I prefer the smoother shifting in the default comfort mode when driving normally, rather than the harsher shifting of the sport mode and I can live with the lighter steering... I can always turn the knob to "sport" or "sport plus" if I want that -- so for me, it's a great device and a great improvement in my driving experience for a little money. And as others have mentioned, it takes 10 minutes to install and no warning lights came on.

WAK-227 for 2018 Genesis G80
I was hesitant in purchasing this item due to purchasing another throttle response and it was the wrong one. I read the reviews and they were spot on. The WAK-227 fits my 2018 Genesis G80 sedan. Just make sure to follow the instructions, which are easy as well. Can tell the throttle response more responsive. The acceleration is improved for sure in Racing and Sport mode. Comfort mode I can tell the shifting is smoother between gears. As far as Eco mode, it’s too soon to tell. I can tell the throttle response is decreased greatly. So I’d imagine there will be slight gas image increased. Good thing about this when my G80 is in Eco, Norm or Sports mode; I can switch the modes on the WAK-227 and still feel the throttle response difference. The quality, of the WAK-227, is not cheap looking. Feels tough and strong. Great the packaging comes with zip ties to help with the wiring. I’d say purchase this item if you want to add a little “push and enjoyment” to your car as your ride. Not as expensive as the leading brands either. So why not purchase.

Impressive Product and Performance
It is Amazing how I got the same response at my throtle on my 2018 Kia Stinger 2.0 Turbo compared to others more expensive than this one , Pedal Commander cost $259 dollars and it is EXACTLY the same responce and performance , RaceChip is another manufacturer and it is EXACTLY the same performance ,... I am still in shock of How much money I saved ,... I was a little skeptical at the beggining because of the low price , WELL WELL WELL it really works as exactly as it is expected and designed ,... F1-5 and F2-6 are very good response , but F3-5 Hold on to your underwear because you will feel like a freaking kick on your ass , for normal driving I use EC-S

Hyundai Tucson 2.0 aspirado del año 2025, definitivamente el XTROS vale la pena, la aceleración es inmediata, desaparece el letargo en la reacción. Deja el auto ágil. Lo recomiendo 100%. Lo ocupo en modo sport F 3.9 es el que más me acomoda en autopista, para ciudad el modo F 1.7 anda bien

Nothing special for a Genesis Ultimate, but a fun accessory for your car.
This product only changes the accelerator signal to the ECM. It could reduce latency to the Electronic Throttle Body. It helps me feel good when I use it. Cogito ergo ZOOM!

Was skeptical...
I've seen these devices popping up for a while now and at first I mainly saw negative comments. I realized that most of those were from people who had no experience with them. Anyhow, as time went on I started seeing actual reviews from people in enthusiast groups on Facebook, so I took the plunge. I wish I had done it sooner. This little box provides a drastic change in throttle response. All the adjustability is cool, but cranked all the up is like an on/off switch. lol. If you own a vehicle with an electronic throttle and cave better response this is your answer. ***Disregard the dust in my dash pic lol ***

WAK227 works perfectly. No hesitation anymore. Smooth cruising even saving gas. Best 64 bucks investment.
