Better than ozone, best ROI detailing product
As a professional detailer, I've bought and used this product many times to treat smoke smell, mildew, mold, or other bad odors. You don't need to use the whole bag. 1/4 or less of the bag is enough for most vehicle treatments. Open all compartments to make sure the Cl02 can reach everywhere. I use a quart container with a lid and holes cut into the lid to limit splash (as the product does foam initially, especially if you mix with hot water. In fact I don't recommend cold water at all). Put a microfiber underneath the container and don't put it on the center console or anywhere that oversplash would cause damage (like on the rear passenger floor). For best results leave for 12 hours or overnight, longer is better.

VERY Potent House Deodorizer... But Be Careful!
This is a professional level product that should be treated with extreme care and caution. It creates ClO2 gas very quickly, so you need to be ready to run out the door as soon as you drop the pellets into the water (when doing a home deodorization treatment using the whole bag.) This is difficult if you are doing many rooms at one. For most people, the competitor's premixed packet type chlorine dioxide generator pouches will be a safer option because they give you much more time to exit before activating and are neater and easier to use. However, if you use proper care and need DIY professional level, deep treatment at a fraction of the cost of a pro, this is the product to use.I treated a 500 sq foot room (kitchen and living room). I used two buckets. In the 1st, I put 1 quart of hot water and half the bag of pellets. In the 2nd, I added more water to make it deeper because I wanted to use a boat bubbler to add air, even though the company says it is not necessary. Both began to bubble instantly and caught me off guard. I thought I would have a little more time to turn off the lights etc. before running out the door. Though I was holding my breath, I still managed to end up smelling ClO2 gas in burnt nostrils for the next few hours with a lot of coughing. I will never do this again without a respirator! I managed to snap a pic of the bucket as I was running out, though I really wanted a video but did not have time.I waited 24 hours before opening the doors and windows to start airing it out. The gas was still VERY strong. I ran in, opened a couple windows, and ran out to take a breath, but there is no way to avoid inhaling Clo2 gas at that strength without a respirator. It took many trips to open all the windows, turn on the ceiling fans on high, and install a couple of box fans to move air out the windows.Interestingly, the bucket with the bait bubbler aerator was clear water, but the bucket without was still very yellow. I did not have any ClO2 PPM strips handy to test it, but it was still very potent, I guess well over the 500 range judging by the color. This means the aerated bucket released all of the gas into the room and was therefore more effective for this purpose. The house has been airing out for the last 12 hours with 4 fans running. I entered without holding my breath and it was tolerable, though still unpleasantly strong. I expect it to be habitable by tomorrow, and the smell to be totally gone in a few days.Did it work? I was treating an "old-house" musty smell that I could not identify but has been driving me crazy. I think it is mold in the walls from old water damage that was repaired when I replaced the roof, but the smell just wouldn't go away. I primed with Killz, painted, and cleaned, but it did not help the smell. I treated with an ozone machine, and installed a Reme-Halo in the AC, but the smell persisted... This ClO2 treatment is my last-ditch effort before I start tearing out drywall to find the source. I am hopeful, but I will not know for a few days once the scent of the ClO2 gas has completely dissipated. If there is no update to this review, assume it worked.BTW. I was quoted nearly $1000 by a local pro to do this same treatment. I decided to do it myself as I am familiar with ClO2, or at least thought I was. This is stronger than anything else I have used (when using the entire bag at once for a gas treatment.) Using just a few pellets at a time to make sanitizer will be a different experience and not so scary, but still use caution and store these with care.To be clear, I love the strength of this product. Next time, I will be better prepared with a respirator as the directions recommended but I ignored.

Works as advertised
I have a car that has a bad musty smell. I used 20 tablets in 1/4 cup of water in a large jar. Now the smell is gone. You get 500 tablets in a bag. For the price you get 25 treatments. If you have cars that need done, it's a good deal.It also came with instruction manual. For doing a car and doing a house.

Great product
Still researching the many uses for this product, especially healthwise. I have tossed a couple tablets into the toilet bowls to sanitize snd deodorize them after cleaning. Smells like the indoor swimming pool at the health club, which is very good. I like that the tablets are in several pouches within the outer bag, so u open only what u need.

This works!! seems too good to be true but it is the real deal
This works amazingly well. Used it to remove long term cigarrette odor that still lingered despite the walls being painted! The process seems hard -core having to vacate, etc. but so worth it. Will use again. Highly recommended .

great price for pro deodorization
I use these to deodorize car interiors. They are the exact same thing as the big names in auto detailing you know for chlorine dioxide, but at a fraction of the price. If you are going to be doing multiple vehicles as a pro auto detailer, get these. For home use - you don't need this much and it will go bad sitting on your shelf.

Replaces one smell with another
I had mouse issues with a '65 Mustang while it was in storage. Used the tablets as directed in the cab and trunk, I have vinyl seats, headliner and door panels, the only fabric in the car is the carpet. Six months later my car still smells like chlorine, I leave the windows open all the time, I can smell it when I walk past on sunny days. Its not overpowering, but it's there.... suppose it's better than the dead mouse.

A healing product!
I used this chlorine dioxide for my pool instead of chlorine bleach items. What a huge difference! My skin cleared up of any scratches, inhaling the solution instead of bleach actually helps your breathing instead of choking you. And the water in my pool has never stayed cleaner for so long! Love this. Miracle product.
