Easy to use
I gave this as a gift to a friend who buys microgreens at a farmer's market and will miss that when it closes November 1. She was thrilled it had 3 trays for succession planting for continuous greens, or planting 3 different types of seeds at once. Also that the plastic housing would be easy to clean and that refill grow mats are available. The only negative thing: One of the paper seed packets had a hole worn in it where the seeds were being pressed against the plastic container. Even before opening the Amazon outer box I could hear seeds rattling around. They were EVERYWHERE. Fortunately, seeds are cheap and I was able to easily replace them at Home Depot.

Sent pre-opened defective product & unable to get an exchange
I ordered a new item. To my horror, when I opened the envelope/bag seeds were spilling out everywhere. The box itself looks as if it was pre-opened and two of the packets have large holes where most of the seeds came out. There is a huge amount of seeds in the box.I was unable to get an exchange so I am stuck returning the item and trying to purchase another or none at all. What a waste of time and money!

Easy set up
I have already harvested one container and they were very tasty. I look forward to using micro greens. And learning how to plant so that I always have a fresh supply. The product was at my doorstep with amazing speed and I want to think the company.

Too much pain for too little gain
Thought I could grow larger micro greens not just the same sprouts I could grow more easily in a jar. It is fussy to use, especially in removing sprouts, takes a long time, needs to be moved around to prevent overheating and smells. Don’t waste your time and use a sprouting jar. You can sprout ten times the volume. If it really grew things like sunflower and pea shoots it would be worthwhile.
