it does the job
the charger is larger than the original block, has a much thinner cable that will break soon. also the usb port does not seem to charge a phone properly that the original adapter was able to do.all in all, if you need a surface book/pro charger at a reasonable price, this may be one with known flaws.

No wire cracks , twists or other drama . Heavy usage since a year. Still runs.

This is a cheap product that has broken 19 days after it was bought. I would not recommend buying this
