Catherine Ponder wrote in this book that '"everything and everybody that comes into our life is there either to heal us or to be healed by us of some wrong attitude of mind, body or affairs." As a longtime student of the law of attraction, I have taken responsibility for the difficult people and situations I have attracted into my life, have worked through my fears, and have asked God to help me forgive those who have offended me, for, deep down, I could feel that I still harbored a bit of resentment against those who hurt me. I now realize more than ever before that those troublesome people came into my life to challenge me to heal the unforgiveness in my heart. This important realization is the answer to my prayers since it has allowed me to let go of my residual ill feelings. I'm deepely grateful to Catherine Ponder for her inspiring words.

I have extensively studied the books of Dr. Joseph Murphy about scientific prayer, to begin with 'The Power of Your Subconscious Mind' yet Murphy has not dedicated a book solely about explaining how to prayer, the prayer technique, and how to use it in our daily conversations with the Divine source power in us.This book fills that gap. It is practical, down-to-earth and fluent in style. Many sample prayers can be taken out of it for immediate use. The author often references the sister book, The Healing Secrets of the Ages, which is equally excellent but more focused on healing only, while the present book contains very (valuable) prosperity prayers.I recommend this book for beginners in New Thought but also to seasoned ministers. The little critter of how to pray is something not so common to be found even among divinity teachers.

What an amazing book! As a Christian, I wanted to develop in my personal walk with God and understand the mysteries in order to grow in my spiritual walk. I began reading several books to understand Faith, Prayer, Believing, but I still needed a deeper more intimate relationship with God. I understood prayer was the key, and faith unlocks the door. So I set out on a private journey in search of a deeper understanding of prayer, how to pray, how to get answers thereby making true connection with God by means of effective fervent prayer. Catherine Ponder's book is the answer - a divinely inspired writing from God. She gives clarity, understanding, and methods on how to pray, many affirmations to use for God to open the channels for answers and she writes many stories from people's experiences. Some of those stories I can relate to in my personal journey. This is a meaningful book that everyone should have and READ, and practice the methods of prayers! Once you begin to read, you will not want to stop reading. It's the best book I have read yet.

This book proved very helpful for me on the spiritual path. I learned so much from Dr. Ponder's accumulation of many prayerful techniques, including affirmations, denials, waiting upon God and the prayers of silence and realization. For those who think that prayer is a one-way street to merely asking God for what you want and need...think again. Catherine Ponder combines many techniques and traditions. Although there's a Christian focus, one can gleam the universality of her writing and how potent the suggestions are for the seeker. Outstanding book and highly recommended!

This is an amazing book that I will read several times. I loved all the Decrees and find all very useful in every area of my life, but the one that hit me to the core was the “Decree of Divine Restoration”. What happened as a child set my life down a path I couldn’t seem to change no matter what I did to try to make things better. The prayer of Divine Restoration is restoring my good. I felt the change within as I repeated this prayer. Thank you so very much!!!

The Dynamic Laws of Prayer will change your life if you follow the suggestions made here. It breaks prayer down into simple steps that when practiced will change you and will change the way you view those events in your life that seem unmanageable.I read this book years ago and this year our group is studying these dynamic laws in our book study. Catherine Ponder offers the stories of how peoples prayers have been answered as they have practiced the ways given in this book and I can personally say "Yes" praying this way has changed my life to one of gratitude and completeness. If you ever wonder why your prayers didn't seem to be answered I strongly suggest reading this book and you will be filled with new understanding of 'how to pray dynamically.'

The Dynamic Laws of Prayer by Catherine Ponder is a book that includes among the following; Relaxing as the First Step in Prayer, relaxing your emotions, the lesson of evil, using the no power to transform challenges, a person who got overseas housing even when many other people were also trying to get housing (I’m guessing pertaining to a U.S. federal government worker), using the power of release for human relations challenges (for either personal or professional situations), and more. A person must keep an open mind because of the information contained on physical health situation and body weight conditions.

This is the first book I read by Catherine Ponder, and it wasn't the last! What she calls "prayer" is mostly what I would term "making affirmations". I noted her many examples of useful affirmations for later use in healing both physical and psychological problems and all sorts of problematical situations.Although the affirmations quoted are formulated in old-fashioned, "religious" language and mostly call upon the healing power of Jesus Christ, we are left in no doubt as to their potency when we read Ponder's many stories of successful, miraculous healings subsequent to their use.An inspiring book which I later purchased both for myself and my daughter!
