Bad quality
This tool is only for jewelry work I think because when you put a little bit more pressure, it burns.

The Littlest Chainsaw
If you like shaping wood with chain-toothed power tools ranging from 20" chainsaws down to the 4" circular chainsaw attachments for normal sized right-angle grinders, this will complete your collection. It can reach places that nothing other than a curved-shaft gouge can reach, under ledges or inside cavities as small as the curved bowl of a spoon. It's not meant for hogging wood in quantity, though -- too underpowered for that. It gets warm to touch when you push it for too long. I find the carbide burr wheel and the sanding flapdisc more useful than the chain, but the combination of all three makes this a tool I reach for when carving bowls and spoons and problems pop up.

I love this little grinder
I've got several grinders that I use for woodcarving including an Arbotech. The Arbortech is much more powerful, but not nearly as ergonomic or as comfortable to use. These little grinders are not made for all day use, or for hogging off lots of material because they get hot and you need to let them cool down. That said, they're great for texturing and light shaping.

TO BAD
I BOUGHT THIS TOOL ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO, WHEN IT CAME IN I PLUGED IT IN AND IT SOUNDED AS IF THERE WAS A LOOSE GEAR (A RATLING) SO I RETURNED IT AND GOT REPLACEMENT. WHEN THE NEW ONE CAME IN IT SOUNDED THE SAME, SO I CALLED THE MFG. THEY SAID THATS THE WAY IT IS. NOW, I BUILD ALL KINDS OF THINGS IN METAL AND WOOD I ALSO TEST TOOLS FOR TOOL DESIGN COMPANIES, SO I KNOW WHT A TOOL SHOULD BE LIKE. I ONLY USED THE TOOL FOR A COMBINED TIME OF 16 HOURS OVER A 4 MONTH PERIOD. YESTERDAY IT SMOKED AND STOPED WORKING, THE MFG, WILL NOT REPLACE IT.NOW IM STUCK WITH A BROKEN TOOL AND $250.00 IN CARVING WHEELSWHEN IT WORKED, IT WORKED WELLTO BAD FOR THE MFG.

Lacks power and durability
I’m disappointed in this tool. It is underpowered and mine is now smoking and losing even more power. Clearly on it ways to complete failure. The only good thing i I can say about this is the size is perfect. Otherwise it is crappy and i don’t recommend it. A Dremel took works better.
