Dinosaurs!

This is a nice little book. I think it's more appropriate for a 2 year old than a 3+ year old, at least in terms of my grandson, who is a dinosaur expert. I think he is already a bit too old for this, but his younger brother may want to read it soon. Not many words, but nice big flaps to lift, which the young children always enjoy. Very colorful illustrations. I do always like Scholastic for its reputation as a children's publisher.

2nd time buying this particular book! It was much loved by now 4 yo granddaughter. Had to buy a 2nd one for 18 month old grandson. The first one was falling apart from so much reading.

I bought this book for my 3 y.o. nephew and he was fascinated! The book is colorful and the dinosaurs realistic without being scary. He is a particularly bright kid, for his age and I am not really biased, so he understood the "moving parts" of the book right away...which are wonderful. It is a really lovely book for a clever young child or a good share with mom or dad...I would recommend it.

I liked everything about this dinosaur book except the pop-up page. My granddaughter, age 2, tore it the first time she looked through the book, so I had to tape it back together.

Grandson loved the colorful story book about the different dinosaurs.

Very cute book for my 3 yr. old nephew. Gave him this with 2 toy dinosaurs and he loved it!

Adorable

Great book. Our little one really likes it, especially as the mechanism for the teeth chomping is much easier for him to work than other books. We've made an improvement to the 1st page by putting transparency over the T-rex's mouth so that our kid doesn't rip the jaw off (he's tried a few times). One minor complaint– dinosaurs did not have fur. I'm a scientist so this line irks me every time we read that page. Other than that, this book is great.
