Size:BYOB 13 | Color:Camouflage/Lime Tenba invites you to Bring Your Own Bag. We know that there are some great bags out there that aren't Tenba bags. From 95-liter trekking backpacks to designer women's handbags, there are a lot of bags that work well for one job, but don’t do well at protecting camera gear. Tenba's BYOB inserts are the solution. They fit a variety of camera systems, with pockets to organize accessories, and their soft shells mold to fit the interior of virtually any bag. So keep using that backpack/courier/handbag/duffel that you love so much, and just give your camera the protection it needs with a Tenba BYOB insert. The BYOB 13 fits a DSLR with 2-3 lenses and accessories (up to attached 70-200mm 2.8).

Fits a Canon 6D along with a 16-35mm f/4 L with room for small extras.
I purchased this as a way to carry my Canon 6D in my hiking backpack along with my backpacking backpack. I searched high and low for reviews of the BYOB series, but found few reviews for cameras my size, and almost no reviews with pictures. I have attached pictures in hopes this will help future buyers determine which BYOB size they want. I almost purchased a BYOB 9, but the BYOB 10 is the perfect size for the gear I want to carry. I also have room for batteries and charger, along with some filters.

Perfect tight fit for Fuji mirrorless camera and two primes
I initially wanted a purse insert that was as compact as possible but could still fit my mirrorless Fuji X-A5 with one prime mounted and another prime in the insert. I wanted it to be easy to swap out the lenses and to take the camera in and out of the bag. I was initially going to return this insert, thinking it was too small to fit both lenses (spare lens does not fit side by side with the camera), but then with some clever configuration of the dividers I figured out how to fit both of them in there (see picture) and it's a perfect fit. The spare prime can sit under the camera next to the lens mounted on the camera itself, so the camera is still easy to reach. I have a Fuji XF 16 f1.4 mounted on the body and XF 35mm f1.4 in the bag as the spare, but it works either way and also with the XF 18-55 swapped out for either of these as well. All of these lenses fit without the hood extended though, I should mention. Probably lenses bigger than these would be difficult to fit.And the whole package is compact and fits in all my purses. Handy expandable elastic outer pockets useful for tons of things (like holding lens caps, SD cards), and it zips up nicely for traveling. Love it!Addendum:Later got the XF 27mm f2.8 pancake lens - which also fits with a bit of a squeeze!

Great For a 3 Lens Mirrorless System
Awesome camera bag for mirrorless cameras.I got this after trying a couple low quality inserts and being disappointed by the quality I was ready to try this bag out. Definitely NO quality complaints on this one. The bag is really robust and well made and doesn't feel like it's going to burst a seam when I zip it closed after over stuffing it.The pockets are great for organization, especially the exterior ones for quick access things like remotes, batteries, and wipes.I've travelled for about 50 days all over the world with this tossed in my backpack and never once had concerns about my camera's safety. Being able to have all of my photo stuff in one compact cube makes getting ready to shoot really quick and easy. I've never found photo specific backpacks that convenient for anything but shooting which I definitely do more than just that when I travel. This makes it easy to carry my camera in whatever pack I choose.__________For reference, I carry:-Fujifilm XT-1-Fujifilm XF18-55 (with hood)-Fujifilm XF10-24 (with hood)-Fujifilm XC50-230 (no hood)-Zeiss lens wipes-Cleaning brush, cloth, tissue-2x spare batteries-Battery charge

It is almost like it was made for the A6000
I was in the market for a small bag to use as a grab and go bag for my Sony Alpha A6000. After searching YouTube for different options I ran across this bag. Now don't get your hopes up for an in depth review because at the time of purchase I had not found one.Notes:-This bag will fit an A6000 kit with the two lenses perfectly! There is enough room in the bag for the camera, extra lens, the charger as well as two extra batteries and wall charger. It is almost like it was made for the A6000!Pros:-This bag is well made and very nicely crafted. Zippers seal tightly and hook and loop dividers attach very strongly and stay put.-I purchased as a grab and go bag for my A6000 and like I said previously it is as if Tenba crafted this bag just for the A6000, two thumbs up!-For a small camera bag that can be put into another backpack or carried separately this bag fits the bill in convenience and price!Cons:-At this point I have found only one con and that is the inability to attach a carrying strap to the bag to carry it as a small shoulder bag.Final Thoughts:If you are in the market for a well built bag for your mirrorless system then look no further because this is the bag you want!-

Amazed by the capacity of the BYOB-9!!!
I just received the insert and upon opening the box I was surprised to see how small it is, but as I started putting my camera gear inside, I realized it is actually the perfect size for my gear! This insert easily fits my OMD-EM5 II with grip and 12-40 2.80 PRO (large lense!) in one compartment with a little room to spare for something (as you can see in the pics, I added my air blower), and on the other side, with a decider in between, I fit the 8mm 1.8 PRO and 75mm 1.8, which are both large micro four thirds lenses. If I wanted, I could fit three smaller primes with two dividers in between (not using two of the dividers). What really surprised me though was the ability to fit the insert into my little BALLY messenger bag! This will be perfect for taking your essential mirrorless gear with you without attracting attention with an obvious camera bag. The cunstructuon looks good, the padding is not very thick but enough to protect your gear. The walls are not as sturdy as I was expecting but that's actually a good thing since it allows it flexibility to accommodate gear. Overall, I love it!Will post real usage review once I take it out.

Fits inside Osprey Daylite Plus
1.- I just received this item today, so I cannot speak for it's durability.2.- Quality: It seems well made, well padded but light and flexible enough to fit in another bag without much effort. I was looking for something a little tougher than just a basic insert, but less than a stand alone camera bag.3.- Size/Use: I will use it to keep my camera (Sony A6000 or Canon Rebel T3) inside my light hiking backpack (Osprey Daylite Plus) separated and proteced from all the other gear. So far it seems like a really promising fit. I have a attached a few comparison shots inside the backpack, next to the DJI Mavic Pro bag and with the Rebel T3 inside.

A great mobile camera bag insert
This is my second Tenba Tools BYOB bag. My previous one was a BOYB9, so this time I opted for the 7 to have a bit more variation and options when carry my camera.First, like many photographers, the struggle to find that perfect camera bag continues. I've been shooting for over 30 years now, and I have yet to find it! This bag insert however, goes some why into helping with that quest.I hate 'proper' camera bags. They scream "look at me, look what I'm carrying" to the scum and villainy out there, and most don't cater for the other things you need to carry, such as water, glasses, sarnies etc. That meant for a few years I've been using various non-camera bags, and would either wrap my camera in a jacket, or pinch the inserts from other camera bags. And that is what is does. It is well padded for a small compact or micro43 camera and a small accessory, and can easily be dropped into any other bag, giving you options. This bag was perfect for my Panasonic GX80 fitted with a 20mm f1.7 lens, with plenty of room left for a second lens if needed. The hand strap on the top means it is easy to pull it out of a daysack or deeper messenger bag too.I've been using it for a week now, and it goes daily from my work messenger bag to my desk, back into the bag and into a daysack for walk abouts, all with no problem. As a bonus, it means I can store my camera set up on a shelf in my house in the bag too!Overall, this is a brilliant step towards finding my camera bag Nirvana. I will probably get another couple, for lenes too.

Small, but versatile
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Added a quick video to show the actual size of this as it was hard to tell from the photos. It just about fits a small mirrorless camera and a couple of lenses, but small lenses mind you, I have the Fuji 35mm f2 and the 18mm in here and it's tight. The dividers allow you to switch it up depending on what you want to carry, and there's plenty of storage inside and out. So if you have a larger lens you'll probably only get the one in with this. The materials feel pretty solid, and the zip pouch inside is water proof, so a good place for batteries and SD cards, hope that helps!

Takes more than you think!
This bag will fit a Fuji XT2 with a 18-55 zoom attached, a 55-200 zoom lens and a 14mm prime lens. I arranged it with the big zoom on the right hand side separated from the rest with a full length divider then the 14mm on the bottom in the centre with a flap cover made out of the pads provided. Finally the XT2 with zoom fitted will just go in 'face down' i.e the screen uppermost. I use a wrist strap not the bigger neck strap fitted to the camera which saves space. Its a tight fit but fully functional. A great way to take the camera + zoom, a wide angle prime and a tele zoom all in one quite small insert which then fits in my rucksack alongside picnic, waterproof etc for a walk.

Great bag for camera + spare lens
This has been a great bag for me to throw in my camera (with lens attached) and a spare, plus an extra batteries/cards.I haven't tested it's waterproofing but it seems durable and the BYOB 10 fits snugly into my various backpacks. I did originally look at the BYOB 13 but I think the 10 was the right choice for me, if I need to carry more gear then I use a dedicated backpack. The BYOB has adjustable compartments, and my equipment feels pretty snug inside. There is a good zip compartment on the top where I store batteries and cards, which is a little tight but nothing to be concerned about. Also outer size pockets are good for lens wipes and caps.I would recommend this as a lightweight alternative to a full backpack if you only need camera + 2 lenses.Bear in mind you'll probably need to buy a shoulder strap or place it inside another bag to carry.

A good quality insert for protecting your camera in a bag or rucksack.
I got this to be able safely to carry a Canon EOS 5D Mk 3 with Canon 24-105 L lens (original version) attached, inside my regular walking daysack. There is room for a large flash gun and small accessories, as well as the camera with lens attached. Alternatively, it would accommodate a lens up to the size of a moderate telephoto alongside the camera, instead of the flash gun, but it isn’t quite tall enough to take the Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L, 100-400 L (original version) or 28-300 L lenses comfortably alongside the camera. (If you’re listening, Tenba, an extra inch of height would make a big difference). The case fits into my 30L daysack easily, with plenty of room for waterproofs, food etc. either above or below the case. The case is well made, with plenty of repositionable dividers. The entire interior of the case is made from fluffy material that Velcro will attach to, so there are no restrictions on how you can position the dividers. I’m very happy with it.
