Danskin Girls' Gymnastics Unitard

I got it for my daughter for her gymnastic and swimming class. She loves the rainbow colors and the sparkle of the material. The material feels strong and the front has an extra layer of lining like bathing suits. She has used it for both and it works well in both classes. I like that it has good coverage and it doesn't ride up on her when she is moving around, since she has a bit of a tush. Her swim class is indoors, so I am not sure about the SPF coverage of this kind of material. The only thing was I wish the company did a better job with the crotch. The seam was that goes across the crotch area wasn't sewn down, so I just put a few stitches on it to make it flat. I don't know if it would have bothered her otherwise, but I really don't want to find out the hard way either. It's just such a fun print and so easy to spot her.

I bought this for my 7 year old, almost 8 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it! I usually buy size small for her still, but opted to buy a medium in this for growing room. It fits as expected and glad I bought it a little big. She has some growing room, but not as much as I thought there would be. So if your on the fence about size, I would go a size bigger. My daughter loves the feel of this product, she says it feels like her swimming suit. She also likes that it has the shorts so she doesn't have to worry about her underwear showing, or worse not wearing them. (her words lol) She has used it for a couple months now and it is holding up well. no loose seams or rips noted.overall great product and would recommend it.

I have worn Danskin clothing before but never had to get kids pieces until now. I find that in comparison with other brands, this one tends to run smaller. I like the quality a lot but the prices always punch me in the gut. I am glad I could get this one on sale. Looks prettier in person. I was looking for non-shiny or outstanding fabric/pattern (since most of kids gymnastic clothing is metallic). This is great for regular training with a hint of glam with those silver circles. I always hang these to dry to prolong life of the piece.

I bought the 4-6. Grandaughter is just into a size 5 and it has to be stretched to get it on. Once on its ok. The legs did tend to creep up and there was a good deal of tugging on the leotard at the first gymnastics class. She likes it better than the regular leotard cut vs bike yard cut, but that may be because she likes the pattern. Gave it 4 stars cuz of the legs creeping up. Good quality and cute style. Runs a little small. Order up if in doubt.maybe leotard would be better for gymnastics.

Set a darling and cute gymnastics outfit. I like the legs and how it gives a little extra coverage. My daughter absolutely loves the gymnastics Leo’s with the legs on them. Cute durable beautiful and great value for the money. My daughter is 5, 3’8” and weighs 42 lbs.

This shortall fits very small. I went on Danskin's website to get a size chart and ordered M for my niece's birthday present. She is turning 7 and is 59lbs, clearly in Intermediate range according to chart. I first bought a medium because the reviews said to size up but it was extremely small. Couldn't even get it on even though the size chart said it was in her height/weight range. Re-ordered in size large and it fits well. Some room for growth on torso length and width. Hopefully, she can use it for at least a year. Fabric is nice and sparkles got rave reviews from birthday girl. So order at least one size up if not 2 if you want to get some use out of it.

I ordered a small for my 6 yr old because according to the size chart that was the size i needed. It fit way too small, it actually fit my 3 yr old perfectly so i didn't return it. I ordered the medium for my 6 yr old this time around and I am hoping i didn't over compensate. Walmart carries danskin so it mifht be a good idea to try on their brand at the store before ordering online to better fauge your kid's size.

The material is good quality, had my daughter try it on and practice some of her stretches/moves for me before I took the tags off. It fit well and moved well, no riding up, she said she was comfortable. My daughter is tall and thin, so o was worried that the torso wouldn't be long enough, but it was. The hips/upper legs are a little loose, but better than too tight! I will order more from this brand!
