The Good, The bad & the Ugly
After a lot of research i bought this kit to be the first kit i built, it comes with paint brushes, glue and paint and not a lot of pieces, in paper great to start!I did read all reviews before i bought the kit and was already expecting quite a few flaws. All reviews are pretty accurate, dashboard doesn't fit where it's suposed to, body does not fit properly as well, pieces are not greatly centered and a loooot of trimming is required and more! Which actually made this model fun, i didn't mind trying to find ways to make it fit, but that's just me!This is my first ever kit, so some input on the materials: the glue was great, more than enough and works as a charm! The paints well, some were thick, other watered and one of them came dry. There is a lot of paint leftover which is cool, i can use for future models. The paintbrushes felt really easy to use.Overall it was a nice project, good thing it comes with the basics, so you can get a feel on the materials and avoid spending too much money. The kit had many flaws and did not end up as perfect as it should therefore i won't give it 5 stars, but it was a really fun build and that includes the trimming of all pieces that beeded it big time. I'm definitely going to be getting more models, probably not from airfix as i've seen cooler begginer models from amt and revel and now i already know how it works and that i enjoy it.It is nonetheless a great first model as it comes with so many tools and you get your patience tested with the little flaws!

You get what you pay for!
First let me say, I love the Airfix kits I've built so far. This one though, I'm not so sure. It's a skill level 1 basic starter kit, and it looks like they don't like beginners. It has the WORST flash, ejector points and seam lines I've ever seen. Must be an old, worn out mold. I anticipate spending more time on cleaning up parts than building and painting. I'm trying to improve basic skills, and this will provide lots of practice. If you're buying for a beginner, spend a bit more, and they will be happier.

Flawless no, fun yes
Yes be ready for some work. It’s an old style model that requires work, which equates to effort. No instant gratification. Flawless no, fun yes. It does require some mods and work to get the body on the chassis. Glue the dash to the body, not the chassis. Test for parts. Front turn signal lenses are way out of scale, I left them off and painted the hole that they were to go in. Looks much better that way.

Not worth it at allAt first , the little parts seemed ok . But the kit is poorly molded with lots of excess plastic and horrible seam lines. And the worst of all , the top did not fit at all !. I mean I know I am purchasing a relatively cheap kit , but still , you expect at least the two biggest parts to fit .The dashboard location is so far up that the dashboard and the steering wheel actually come under the bonnet ! . Overall waste of money , avoid it .
