WESTINGHOUSE LIGHTING CORP 85571 8" GLS WHT Ball Globe, 8", White

The globe arrived quickly, and was carefully packaged in plenty of bubble wrap. It fit my kitchen ceiling fixture perfectly. But I had to deduct one star because I think a replacement globe should come with the 3 tiny screws needed to install it. Those screws do tend to loosen and fall out over time, and if one drops onto the floor, good luck ever finding it. Now I knew this globe did not include the screws when I bought it, and that I'd have to go to the hardware store to find the right replacements. But it would have been so much better if the screws were included. Really....how much more would that have cost the seller, and I for one would be happy to pay a dollar or two more for the convenience.

I really appreciate the quality of this product and a special shout out for the careful packaging for shipment. The description needs to be more clear, as the (4") fitter, must be measured at the furthest outer portion of the opening base. I had to buy a different bulb for the lamp that I'm using, because the intended bulb truly needed a 4" opening. Just a better description, that's all you need.

This would have been perfect but it has a neck. It will not fit my fixture.

This was fine, but does not fit our fan. We’ve had a lot of difficulty finding the right size. We now have 2 light covers that do not fit. Not sure why this is so difficult! It did not make sense to send this back, it would cost almost as much as we paid for it. So, it sits in our garage, in the box.

Replaced a mushroom style dome with this ball. Not sure I really like it as it looks like a huge globe on the end of my fan, like I could paint the continents on it LOL. Guess it takes getting used too. Oh well it will do the job it's intended for.

I mean it worked when I put it over the light but it lost a point because I couldn't get my head inside to pretend I was the robot from Lost in Space.

The product was sent back because the photos did not show the true image of the product. It had a neck on the opening, and I need a globe without a neck, therefore, it did not fit my light fixture. The product photo should show the entire globe. Very disappointing.

Easy, fits well, make sure you measure the base of the bulb.
