Nature Made Astaxanthin 4 mg. Softgels 60 Ct

This is by far the best supplement I have ever taken! I'm all about antioxidants and I'm all about supplements and the effects that this had on my body are insanely beneficial! I noticed right away that my skin had a brighter more vibrant glow to it and my memory immediately improved the first time I took it. I knew this was helping me with my memory because I stopped taking it for a little while, but then once I started again I instantly felt an immediate boost in my cognition!I wish Nature Made would made an 8mg and a 12mg soon enough. Astaxanthin is a new product for them, but I bet its flying off the shelves. I can't even find it in drug/grocery stores. Maybe its just not commercial yet. I've been taking it for a few weeks now and I'm increasing my dosage to 8mg. Problem is I can only buy them in a 4mg dose.Oh well. Guess its a good problem to have! Love the stuff so much I can't get enough of it!

I'm sure this works for most people, but I take digoxen for rapid heartbeat, and about 2 weeks after I had added Astaxanthin to my daily regime I noticed I was feeling a little tired-soon after that my heart started missing beats & beating harder. Did a little more extensive research about this product and learned that with some medications, the liver is not able to clear out both the astaxanthan and the medication, so the digoxen was building up in my system . If I hadn't suspected the astaxanthan or found out what it can do it may have turned into something serious. I had already made an appt. with my dr., but when I learned the above, I stopped the astaxanthan and within 2 days I was back to normal. I had checked with 2 pharmacists about taking this product with my medication & they didn't think there was any problem with it--but there was.

I've read a lot about astaxanthin and thought I would give it a try. After just two weeks I really noticed a positive difference in my clarity of thought and general energy level. I told my husband to try taking it himself for one month, and he actually agreed to do so. I am sure he will notice a difference, too. I was expecting this to be a one-time purchase, but I will definitely keep astaxanthin on my vitamin list.

Have been using the Nature Made Astaxanthin from the drug store. Paid more for it there. I need to research more about using this product. It seems that to absorb it you need to take a phsophotolipid (not spelled correctly) oil like Krill Oil.

Take it every day and it seems to have helped my energy level and reduced the chronic pain in my joints. I don't know if it really works or it is in my head but there is enough difference that I will keep taking it.

I'm trying this supplement for the first time and it is good for relaxing, not sure about skin or Eye benefits, yet.

I've used this for a long time. It seems to help my arthritis, especially if I have been sitting for a long time in one position. Now I can stand up without much help. It seems to have no adverse or side effects.It's hard to get locally in stores, so the subscription service from Amazon is most convenient. Heartily recommend.

I have IOL lenses (did not qualify for lasik) so similar to cataract surgery. Some mornings my eyes are blurry and some days they are fine but the blurry days started exceeding the non-blurry days. A friend recommended Astaxanthin and my vision has improved. It has also improved my reading. I am still fighting wearing reading glasses - this one is more subtle but I have definitely noticed an improvement.

Good shelf life and good quality as expected.
