I use AnnaLisa Italian Round Pads to remove makeup. I wet the rounds with micellar water and then start wiping my face. While a lot of these types of cotton rounds are on the market, I have been very impressed with the AnnaLisa Rounds.(1) They are stitched all around the edge, so they are less likely to separate as some do. (2) Similarly they are substantial, not too thin nor too thick. They do not tear apart when you use them. (3) They are lint free; there are no stray strands of cotton to clean off your face or pick out of your hair. (4) One side of the round is ribbed; the ribs are soft; they add texture, but are not abrasive. I have found the ribbing helps remove more makeup on the first swipe. (5) These cotton rounds seem reasonably priced when comparing to other, similar style cotton rounds.I definitely will buy more!

These cotton pads are absolutely wonderful. The thickness of nearly all pads in every package is perfect and as pictured. The pads shed less than any cotton pads I have used and they are exceptionally absorbent, which makes them ideal for cleansers. In looking at the reviews here, I noticed that some are expecting every pad to be identical. With cotton, there is natural variation in texture that influences how the cotton behaves, when pressed into a pad. As such, when a machine presses different sections of cotton into many little pads, you get a little variation in the thickness of the pads, as they come out of the machine. Put another way, occasionally, a clump of cotton with register with a machine as being of the correct thickness, because it weighs the right amount, but it will end up producing a slightly thinner pad. What I have noticed with this brand, with that in mind, is that they have the smallest number of thinner pads per package, as compared to other brands. Yes, you will find a few thinner pads in every package, due to that natural variation in the cotton itself, but, overall, they have nice thick pads and their cotton is very high quality, again, as compared to other cotton pads.Overall, given the average thickness of the cotton pads and the lack of shedding, I believe this to be the best cotton pad on the market today. I have used brands bought here, brands from grocery stores and specialty beauty and make-up stores, and I have never used pads that shed so little and worked so well. These are just spectacular and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a better cotton pad to aid in your beauty regimen. Good luck finding the ones that will work for you. Over the last few years the quality of cotton rounds has greatly deteriorated. I've used Swispers, Ulta, Sally, and a few others. They all shred and drop pieces on the carpet. Apparently these companies decided it was better to reduce the quality than increase the price. I ordered the AnnaLisa cotton rounds from Amazon and I am so happy to find them. They don't shred, they don't tear, and I don't have to pick the pieces out of my bathroom throw rugs. I use them every day to apply toner, and periodically to remove nail polish. They're great. I ordered several more packages.UPDATE June 2020. These are still the best cotton rounds I have found. However, there has been a change in the way they're put together. If you look at the pictures you can see what looks like stitching around the edge of the cotton rounds. It isn't (I think they're probably stamped somehow) but the result is that the edges are neat. The last few package I ordered are not made this way. There is no "stitching" around the edges so the rounds tend to fluff up and the layers separate. I stack them in a clear jar on my counter and it can be difficult to separate one from the next. Again, the quality of the product is good but something has changed in the manufacturing process. I'm concerned that this will lead to a deterioration in quality at some point, but for now I will keep buying them.Update August 2022. I'm absolutely done with these. The quality has deteriorated to a point where they simply aren't worth the money anymore. I can find something better than these at my neighborhood drug store. Sad - they used to be the best on the market.

I bought these for myself but even more importantly also to clean & care for my aged choc lab's ears. No matter what the packaging promised, every package I bought elsewhere previously, whether square, rect. or round left easily seen. actual cleansing pad debris & had to be thrown away. Plus you typically have to use double or triple the number of pads to use them at all which then required a wash cloth or paper towel to get off all the mess left behind. For our sweet dog with chronic ear problems, the chance of leaving foreign material in his ears was not an option nor acceptable. The pads must be soft, absorbent & yet strong, all normal expectations & yet so difficult to find. But no longer.These pads meet my every cleansing, safety, quality & comfort criteria & do exactly what we need them to do.In my opinion every pad being made & sold should be of no lesser quality than these, whether for adults, infants, children or our pets.Dude, our rescued chocolate lab & I thank you

Works great! I use them daily for my liquid exfoliant on my face and it doesn't ball or fall apart when it's wet. I've also used them to remove nail polish. Great price for the product!

Amazing!! Totally worth every penny! These cotton pads are so soft.Sometimes when the cotton pads are bad quality, I feel like I need to use so many to get the job done, TOTALLY NOT the case with these... great quality! This is a great product!

These cotton pads are terrific. They are soft, and do not come apart easily. I will certainly be purchasing again.

Not the plushest and good quality as other brands but are inexpensive and remove my make-up so I'm okay with that.
