I used this wire to MIG weld a stainless steel exhaust system on my V8 swapped Ford Ranger. It flowed/melted in nicely with the lower quality stainless exhaust pipe. Strong joints that haven't cracked yet, and I"m not easy on this truck. I'd recommend this welding wire to anyone.

I have been using this wire for a few years now, I use it for almost all of my S.S. work and it works and looks just fine. Also, I have used it a hand full of times on S.S. to mild steel and have had no issues with it. ( which by the way, that is what this wire is designed for ) Good product.

Working good for my stainless exhaust project. I am not a pro mig welder, but if the wire is good I can do a pretty good job.

I purchased ER309L SOLID CORE STAINLESS STEEL MIG welding wire. The roll is unlabeled, so no idea what it actually is, and the box says it's ER309L, but also that it's CARBON STEEL FLUX CORE wire.

Worked well for mig welding a stainless exhaust. I used 75/25 gas because of a helium shortage and tri mix being unavailable in my tank size but it welded just fine!

Works beautifully on stainless, even using 75/25 shielding gas.

Tried using this wire with trimix gas on thin SS tubing for exhaust. Weld looked burnt and chunky.

I really like this wire for stainless and was also able to fix a crack on a cast iron engine block with it.
