Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym 150lb Weight Stack Machine

Overall I am happy with the performance of the equipment. Quality is fairly solid and it just looks nice. However, there are a few things to note for anyone interested in buying: - It took me 3 hours to assemble. I didn't mind as I love to build stuff out of the box, but for your average Joe, it may not be as enjoyable. - Length of cables isn't that long. I am 5'7" and I stretched the cable until its hit the equipment. I have to be mindful to not overextend. Anyone over 6' will have even bigger issues. - Attachments that came with equipment aren't the best, will probably need to buy separate ones.

The Good: Easy to put together, great resistance, great instructions for assembly. The Bad: Put aside at least 3.5 hours for assembly (and plan to have to take breaks), the cable is a bit short (though you can get an extender online easily), don't expect the top cable to go past your waist if you are standing. The bottomline - Great, affordable starting/intermediate machine. If you're not a hardcore lifter, the 150 is plenty to work with. I highly recommend it.

Took 7 hours to build, but worth the effort. Good build quality and multifunctional. Could be a little more smooth while operating.

Love this machine, going to get me in shape for the summer, well built. not too hard to assemble, took about 20 mins.

It’s clearly designed to handle serious workouts. • Good Quality: Materials and finish are top-notch, giving it a professional gym feel. Cons: • Time-Consuming Assembly: Be ready to set aside several hours (and maybe a couple of coffee breaks) to put it together. • Needs a Gym Mat: Without a solid mat underneath, it can feel slightly unstable on certain floors. Overall, once it’s up and running, this home gym delivers a great workout experience. Just make sure you have the time, patience, and a good floor mat before you start.

This is an entry level home gym setup. I purchased it on sale to use for specific exercises recommended by my physical therapist. It will certainly meet my needs. I have a lot of experience assembling large and small items. For me the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I also felt the quality of parts fit their application. The unit was packed well, and arrived in perfect condition. As people move to more involved equipment, this model ends up on the resale market a lot. They all look good, showing the durability of the parts. I’m happy with the purchase. My only wish is that Marcy, like other manufacturers, would produce an app that demonstrates the various exercises that can be performed on it. You either need personal guidance from a pro, or have to search the web for options.

This machine came quicker than I expected. It is easy to put together but I used my tools not the one that came with the unit. The machine will work you as much as a person puts forth the errors. Wished I had gotten one years ago instead of tha Total Gym.

Functional, but very cosmetically damaged. UPS did not handle product well. It comes in 3 boxes. 2 contain weight plates and the third is the actual gym and the top weight. It looks like it was originally packed well with plastic straps all around it but one box of weights seemed to be carried by the straps and was more or less demolished in my driveway (even visibly destroyed in UPS's own delivery photo). Also the box containing the gym itself was pretty damaged with the front weight stack cover bent on multiple spots, scratches on several other parts and one bracket for a pulley pinched too tight to fit the pulley in the middle. A support request was sent to the manufacturer. We'll see how that goes.

Was a little skeptical about this machine but it works amazing took some time to put together and 2 people were needed to assemble but its holding up to daily usage
