Predator Foods Bulk Live Crickets - 500 Count (Large - 1")

I am very disappointed...I knew it was too good to be true( The same price for 1000 instead of 500!!) I always order bulk crickets for my bearded dragon. I wanted to try a new seller. Well first off half of them were dead. I ordered 500 and I got no more then 150. Also I never seen this kind of cricket before and I've been getting crickets for over 12 years. They were all deformed looking they were all exotic colors and all different sizes and shapes. Now I know it sounds pretty out there but my bearded dragon eats anything and everything lol.... She wouldn't touch these. Just wanted to give y'all a heads up;)

This is a great buy! I have been ordering meal worms from them for a while now and just started ordering crickets, very happy and so is my bearded dragon. She’s happy healthy and beautiful.And a note to those who’ve left some not so nice reviews.. the most common problem is user error. If your crickets are dying soon after buying them, your probably not taking good care of them. The seller has a “how to” breakdown on how to care for your crickets. Also don’t assume you didn’t get enough. Count them. You definitely got enough. Usually a few more Incase they die.This is a great deal and way better then going to your local pet store to get ripped off. I’ll continue to buy and support this seller!

So I went ahead and ordered these despite all the negative reviews because I figured, well maybe they just had a bad run and my experience would be different. Unfornuately that isn't entire true as a large chunk of the crickets arrived DOA. I'd say it was around 100ish that were completely dead and while I didn't count the remaining alive ones I would be shocked if it came out to 300 more. I did order the tiny ones so maybe there is that many in there but I would be really surprised if so.Stilll... it is hard to rate this a complete loss because even if you get half of the crickets alive (out of 500) that is STILL a better deal than the local pet stores here. They sell them for 10 cents a cricket here so you are already at $10 bucks even with just a 100. So while the seller on here isn't exactly delivering what he describes it is still a better deal. He/she also tosses in a bag of feed/dirt for the crickets which is nice. No idea if these things can breed on their own but if so I have to imagine this would be enough to create a colony on the cheap.Honestly, if the seller would just package the crickets better I really feel a lot more would have survived. You could tell a lot of the crickets can smashed under the bottom cardboard lids and the bag of "dirt" probably didn't help matters by being loosely put in the box. If the seller would change this I would bet a lot more would survive.Anyway, it wasn't a total loss but I can't give it more stars simply because a lot of the crickets had perished by the time they got to me. (which also took over a week since ordering, faster shipping would be nice.) It's a decent deal if you are ok losing a 1/4 to 1/2 of your crickets.

Have ordered 500 Medium from company twice. first box lasted about 3 weeks for my bearded Dragon and only had about 100 of them die. this last time I ordered them, they arrived the 22nd and 10 days later they were all dead, also didn't seem like we received anywhere near as many crickets as we did the first time, and the 2nd box the crickets were much smaller.

All of the crickets arrived dead. There were no air holes in the box. Disappointing as they were such a good deal. There was a heat pack in the box, but did not stay warm. Also loved the two spiders that were included.

I was skeptical about ordering crickets through the mail but our pet stores are always out of them and as many as our bearded dragon needs, it was really expensive. I ordered the small crickets first and they took about 4 days to get from the west coast to the east coast and about 25% of them were dead, which was less than I expected. It still ended up being cheaper than the pet store but they were a bit too small so I ordered medium sized. Those also came in 4 days and I was pretty shocked that 90+% are alive. My only complaint is that some of the medium are quite large. I'll definitely keep ordering these though. It ends up being way worth for as many as we go through.

We loved the fast delivery and was exactly what we wanted

Out of all of the ones I ordered, only 42 were alive. They stunk and we’re not contained in anything, they were just loose in the box. Absolutely disgusting. I will never order again!
