This is a great travel kettle. Easy to use, easy to carry and pack in your luggage. Filling it to the max is the perfect amount of water for my 20oz tea cup. It leaves enough room to add frothed milk and sugar. Heats water quickly.

The variable temperature kettle works like it is supposed to. Once it is open it is sturdier than I thought it would be from other reviews. I use it for press coffee at 200 degrees. I stops at 199.2 degrees which is way closer than I expected. It will hold this temperature for an hour. It gets to this temperature way faster that my regular glass one. It's also quiet. I don't hear any of the boiling noise get with my glass one, even if I go to 212. It has not bad smell even from the first time. The base adds about 1 inch to the folded kettle. It's worth it to me for the variable temperature and the keep warm function. Before I ordered, I asked if the cord detached from the base. I got both yes and no answers. It does not detach. It is 24 inches long, very flexible, and wraps nicely around the base.

I have only just received this kettle but am very impressed with how well it functions. I tested each temperature setting for accuracy with my thermometer and every setting was accurate except for the coffee setting which was 190 F. instead of 200 F. degrees in the “keep warm function. The water comes to a very rapid boil and there is only a slight silicone smell but not enough to affect the water taste. A vinegar solution or added lemon to the water should take care of this very easily. It would be nice if the kettle weighed a little less and came with a better storage pouch but a little bubble pack wrapped around the two units works quite well for protection when traveling. i also wish that the electrical cord could be coiled and stored beneath the base unit rather than a looped bunch on the side. I failed to read the instruction manual properly initially and expected the “keep warm” function to operate for all the temperature settings and thought the kettle was faulty because the “black/boil” light didn’t respond to the “keep warm” setting. “Keep warm”” only operates up to 200 F. degrees according to the manual. The kettle works the way it is meant to…now if only my brain did the same thing, I could have saved myself some anxiety thinking I had a wonky kettle. International travel is on the agenda later this year, so I will have to postpone trying out the dual voltage feature until that time. For the moment, I am very happy with my purchase and do recommend it to others.

I like that the kettle can be set to different temperatures and I do not have to haul around a cord. Use is every day, more than once, and it is reliable.

Did not work at all. Plug it is the display lights up, but none of the buttons work. After a few minutes it shuts itself off with just the power button lit. It will not turn on and none of the functions work. It came set to 110V which is what it is plugged into. Unfortunately I purchased this to use for travel and I will not be back in the USA by the time to return it for a refund. 1st photo is plugged in. 2nd photo after 1 munute

I love and I use it all the time to heat up water for many things

I make my own coffee everyday and one of the greatest struggles for me is getting my daily coffee fix whenever I'm traveling. I used to bring my entire coffee setup along for the trip if I could but packing it all was always an inconvenience. Bought this before a 5 day vacation and Im thoroughly impressed with the product! I typically use a gooseneck water boiler for some drip coffee but I found that it poured water pretty well! Will definitely bring this along for the ride in the future. Only negative that I noticed is that you can't set the water boiler to default to keeping the water temperature. You must press the button each time.
