Amazing customer service!
The reader I purchased looked different than the one I wanted and I initiated a return right away. The seller contacted me immediately and explained that the branding is different but machine is the same. He also put me in touch with tech support who provided a super easy fix to reconfigure the reader and now it works perfectly! Awesome awesome service!

No directions for use
Terrible device. No instructions included. Not plug and play. Needs to include some assistance or directions.

Good universal chip card reader but they are not plug and play
These readers need to be programmed for the specific type of Prox, SEOS, etc card that will be read and for the type of data output - hex card data, CSN, etc. They are not "plug and play". Use the RF Ideas PCProx Config software to configure and test the reader. Note that the "C16" apparently means a 16" cord, vs the normal 6' cord. This part number is installed in some Datacard printers as a chip reader.
