I got this and I’m not sure if it was broken before I got it but a part of it was chipped. The guy installed it anyway.I got the box out of the mail and never opened it I gave it right to the repair guy

I was hesitant with the reviews I seen .. but it was great value for the price!Snaps on and the appearance was nice I have a 2016 Ford Explorer!

The inner trim fit well and was easy to install. The double sided tape on the outer trim was strong and sealed well. The included clips held the outer trim strong. Unfortunately, there is a body clip at the top of the left and right outer trim that is broke off and there is no way to fix it as you can see from the pictures. When the clips broke, the outer trim does not fit close to the body of the Explorer. Since the suppler doesn't offer replacement, I had to choose another provider to buy another set of outer trim. Be very careful to line up the inner trim so the body clip at the top of the trim lines up. When you go to install the outer trim, start at the top, work your way down and don't force the trim. It may break.I do recommend you purchase the inner and outer trim together and replace both. That said, look closely at the reviews to make sure you don't find similar problems that I experienced.

While driving on a trip last week I noticed the rubber molding on left and right windshield panels was dry and breaking off. Panels were fine, but the rubber gone. Unfortunately, I could only find that the entire 2 part assembly for the window trim needed to be replaced. I found these on Amazon and read decent reviews. Since much cheaper than FORD OEM, I purchased these - both driver and passenger side. Packaging was great. Out of the box, quality looks good. Removal of old and installation of the new ones was straight forward, EXCEPT that it is not easy to tell after installing if all the clips snap in and the entire assembly is appropriately tight enough together. Many of the reviews mention having these come off while driving. I will find out. Mine feel very secure, but time will tell. I used the adhesive strip, but did not glue down which I wish I had done for peace of mind at least. They look good, but as my photos show, the top portion of the rubber trim curves out and not a true fit to the top trim piece. I don't recall if my OEM fit the same way. So far I am pleased and glad I chose these as long as I don't lose one while driving.

Fitted great. Will see how long it lasts. I have only had it on for 2 days now. When I noticed it missing I thought someone stole it but after reading people’s comments I realized that it was a common occurrence. I hope that Ford would consider a recall for this or it’s an intentional design for customers to keep spending on these parts. This is not good. Most folks in the comment section said that it didn’t last but from my experience when I bought some product with bad reviews most times, if not all times, it would work great and last longer than expected for me. I will wait to see. But it fitted perfectly and looks great.

I was worried about the fit. it was easy to put on and worked out perfectly!

This was an easy installation and it looks great. I’ve had it replaced twice now and this is by far the better of the two. Love this.

I tried as carefully as possible to install correctly. The top clip would not align and therefore left a gap. I tried to remove but broke several clips in the process.

Worth the money for base molds. Easy install
