Ralph Lauren Polo Double Black 4.2 oz After Shave

I am not typically a fan of the Polo line up because it always seemed to have such a strong half life, nothing subtle about it. This is not weak by any standard, but much more controllable/user friendly. We use to joke about the Polo a co-worker always wore because the elevators smelt like a Macy's perfume counter for hours!My first contact with the Double Black came via my wife, who simply used the logic; Drakkar is black, he like's that ... My daughter had also been offering grief that Drakkar was too 80's, and that I appeared to be stuck there?Now, enter Ralph and Double Black, and I am a changed man! I prefer this over any aftershave/foo foo water I have ever worn, especially at night. This is as close as it comes to Love Potion Number 9!!! While on a vacation recently, I asked for this particular fragrance in a perfume/cologne shop and found out it is discontinued by Polo. Extremely sad to hear that, as I really do like the light and lasting scent of this cologne. I found this bottle on Amazon from one of the dealers and purchased it quickly. If you like Polo Double Black, don't be surprised to see it disappear from shelves. Get it while you can.By the way, after receiving this purchase, it was a little different from my original bottle from Polo. Same cologne, just not in a 'spray' cap. Not a big deal, as the cologne is still great.

I love the smell of Double Black Polo on my husband. I think it's the best fragrance out of the whole Polo line. Bought him a new bottle for Valentines Day.

It smells great but it’s cologne not after shave. it’s over priced by $40 on here; almost everywhere else is $68-$84.

Funny how most department stores do not sell after shave for men. It's easier to order on-line through amazon. It gets to you way before you can find a store which stocks the item

The product description said "balm". But it arrived as a liquid after shave.

I have been looking for this for ages but thought I could only get it abroad. Glad I finally got it in the UK.
