This bed was SO easy to put together! I thought I would have to help but all I did was pass my boyfriend the screws and he had the bed up within an hour. The fabric on headboard is so nice, it gives it a more expensive feel. The beams support the mattress so well it actually feels like I got a new mattress too and I’m pretty heavy. Also the headboard goes up past my head when I sit up and that was very important to me. I’m 5,9 and the last headboard I had only went up to my shoulders. I knew I would like the bed but I’m over the moon, for this price point and this quality I rate this a 10 out of 5

I wanted to give some details because other reviews didn’t have what I needed. We purchased the Queen. First, the floor (hardwood) to the bottom on the footboard/sideboards is a little over 6 inches, so it doesn’t sit too low. Second, we have an adjustable base and we have it set with the legs at a 12 inch height so it works with this bed frame. It works because you don’t put the wood slats in, or middle bar, however, we had to remove the wood on the inside of the sideboards to get it to fit. If we didn’t remove the wood the slats sit on, the base wouldn’t have fit inside. I recommend a power drill with Allen wrench bit so it’s easier than just using the Allen wrench that comes with it. So, it is sturdy enough to be the decor around the bed, since all the weight is really on the adjustable base. And this goes without saying, but it’s much easier to put this together first if you’re getting a new mattress and adjustable base, and then add the base/mattress after. We did this opposite because I was searching for something to accurately fit an adjustable base, and had the bed delivered first, so it was a bit of a pain. I only gave 4 stars because more details should have been given on how this works with an adjustable base or not. The slats sit higher up on the foot and sideboards so I’m sure it would be great with just a normal mattress too. The bed won’t sit low that way either.

I have ordered about 6 in this style for short term rentals and they are super easy to put together, always arrive early, and are STURDY!

The only hard part with set up was drilling in the planks… the planks had entry holes for the screws but the other peice of wood that you connect the planks to didnt, so we had to make our own for it to work. Other than that it was super easy, took like 2 hrs 2 ppl.

Man putting this together was some work I wld recommend you get big boy keys for it because my hand locked up 82 times lol but it's an good lil bed I've had it for over a year and my wt is about 226 and i have a bigger friend it hold both of us with no problems or noises now the headboard kinda cheap but it still looks good for the price

After a little problem with delivery I love how my bed came out. It was easy to assemble not so tall as I wanted it, no need of box spring. The only thing it a little noisy if you know what I mean. But anyways over all it’s fine.

I've been a devout Amazon shopper for over a decade now and yet, this is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review. I hope it helps anyone on the fence!I purchased this bedframe to support the new queen size Ghostbed Mattress we purchased that requires either a platform, slats or a foundation to support it.It took 3 days for our package to arrive - 4 days sooner than estimated! The bed comes in two boxes: one for the headboard and another for the side rails and footboard. Both came at the same time (some reviewers said theirs came at separate dates). Unfortunately as soon as we opened the door to bring the boxes in, it was clear we were sent the wrong item. The headboard was the correct size and color, however the rails were the wrong size and color (these details are actually printed on the exterior of the box).We jumped right back on Amazon and quickly went through a questionnaire to request a replacement bed to be shipped due to receiving the wrong item(s).We were disappointed there was no way to pay for expedited shipping on the replacement bed, but hoped like the first shipment, that the new bedframe would come quickly. We ordered the replacement bed on Thursday 7/11/19 and received it Monday 7/15/19 (4 days).Everything with the replacement bedframe was correct to what we ordered - hooray! Now to inspect the pieces and get to assembling. Short of a few loose threads and some sawdust collected on some of the upholstered pieces, everything shipped well. Like most u-build furniture, there's an instruction manual, a myriad of screws, bolts and nuts to put it all together. Theres a total of maybe 12 steps to making this bed, all of which are fairly straight forward. Normally I have the hubby put these things together, however I was off work the day the bed arrived and was eager to see it! In about 90 minutes, I had this assembled all by myself! (30 year old fitness instructor at the time of this review)The kit includes a little Allen Key and Wrench however you will need a Phillip's head screwdriver or drill to attach the slats to the frame using the provided wood screws towards the end of construction.Overall the bed looks great for the price point! I've shopped comparable frames at stores such as Ashley Furniture that are twice the cost of this, with similar level of construction. It appears sturdy (no squeaks, wobbling or cracking thus far), doesn't have any weird off gasing and supports our new mattress well!Additionally the bed has great storage room underneath it. Our bed is on hardwood floors and measures around 5.5" from the floor to the bottom of the side rail. The mattress itself sits towards the top of the side rails, so if you finesse/pivot your belongings pass the bedframe, there's a little over a foot of vertical space before you hit the bed slats.We still need to go through the hassle of reloading the original bed and bring it to the UPS store so we aren't double charged for the replacement bed. Other than the initial order issue, I'm happy with our purchase and would recommend this frame to others!
