Most beautiful book
The book is perfectly written with all the necessary information about the mentioned places. I was really glad to see the design, cover page and printing. The photograph which is clicked by the author herself makes the book extremely gorgeous and useful. Thoroughly written and enjoyed ready it whenever I want. Hoping to see new books that will cover Faizabad and Ayodhya monuments too. Over all the book is really worthy and astonishing. Hats off to the author.

A well-researched, brilliant book
A brilliant book. An enormous amount of research has gone into it. I wish this book had been written earlier. I would have loved to read this book before my travels to Orchha, Khajuraho, Nalanda etc. It was interesting to read about the uniqueness of Pattadakal and the difference with Aihole. Wish I known before my travel to Badami. The author could have included a map. I love maps and wish there was one.

Reads like a whirlwind & leaves you yearning for more. Its not only a commentary but her scrupulous reflection lifts this work to another level. Shall be waiting for a sequel.

It's a thrill ride, all through the not-so-known monuments of India!
It is such a joy to read about those places which are not much talked about. The author has done the job brilliantly. Its not just some bland retelling of facts but a vivid description about the various facets of history.Go on and buy it if you want a virtual tour to the lesser known monuments and know the story behind their genesis. The cover of this book took my heart away and I just can't get over it!

Highly recommended.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, very informative and interesting. I loved the Sheikh Chilli and Burhanpur stories the most. I grew up on Sheikh Chilli stories, never imagined there was a real person with this name.
