I tried to caotact Cooler Master customer support , BUT they never gave me any followups on what Power cable I neede for an additional SATA cable .So I orgered this unit ...I'm starting to think that Cooler Master does not make these , and has the same supplier ...There identical ...

This is not compatible with RMX series PSUs and will fry any drives it is connected to. Fire hazard, should not be being sold. Amazon need to do better.See pin difference in image.

Good product
This is a good product, bought for Radeon 6800

Perfect for installing an RTX-4080 GPU to Corsair RM850x PSU
The Corsair RM850x PSU only comes with 2 PCIe 6+2 to PSU Modular Cables, and the high end RTX GPUs require 3 (you are clearly instructed NOT to use the daisy-chained 2nd 6+2 connector on any of the PSU cables due to GPU power draw). So, to be in compliance you need a 3rd cable, and I was not going to risk it with a $1+ grand GPU. This cable is identical to the PCIe cables supplied with the RM850x PSU, both from a wiring / connector perspective, and aesthetics, as it uses a black braided cable cover just like the Corsair cables. So, it's perfect in every way. No installation or operational issues. And the price is perfect too!
